I just bought this at BJ'S Wholesale Club. The box didn't say the name of it and the machine is all Japanese, which I can't read. Does anyone know the name of this machine?

Thanks luckydog. I have always wanted one of these machines and BJ's had them for $199, so I decided to buy myself an early Christmas present. I just need to figure out everything. It is fun, but I don't understand a lot of it yet.

you got a nice machine at a nice price

buying on line this time of year you would have paid the same or more after paying shipping

and then you have to worry about it coming damaged or broken.

it is pretty loud even at the lowest volume setting, i used cotton balls in the speakers for a quick fix.

i still see scenes of the led screen that i haven't seen before.

it's fun, my grown sons call it the party machine!!!!!!

I posted it with a link to the pachinko museum site via world lingo. It's a bit hard sometimes to decipher Japanese even with a machine translation but it will help and there's almost always going to be someone here than can help further.

I just ordered an L-Pad so that I will be able to turn the sound down. It is so loud I that I can't play it when my husband is around. He get's so annoyed. Not to mention my cats. Man, this machine is sooooo loud!!!! I tried unplugging one of the speakers and putting foam in front of the other one, but it was still just as loud. So for right now I have the speakers unplugged. Just until my L-pad arrives. It's hard to play without any sound.

There should be a volume switch (sometimes it's two). It is usually a slider switch that lets you set the volume to either: Loud, Very Loud or Extremely Loud.

They are sometimes hard to find. Try following the speaker wires. They usually plug into the board that has the switch(es).

I tried that and couldn't find any switches, so I called the 1-800 number and they said that this particular machine didn't have a switch and that it was set on the lowest setting by default. I doubt that it is the lowest setting. It is way, way too loud for that.

Until the l-pad arrives, cotton balls work really very well.

open the door, look at the big plastic box on the top part of the door,

on the bottom of the box you will see a small hole with the switch right above it,

you have to stick up finger in the hole to move switch, toward you is the lower on mine

Ah, ha. I found it. I will have to check the sound in the morning. My husband is asleep and if I turn it on right now I will never be able to turn it on again!!!

It's great you found it. 8-) Looks like the 800 people are a bit lost on it. Now you will still have to have that L-pad.. Unless you're completely hard of hearing.

I guess I purchased an L-Pad for nothing. Well, I'll see in the morning how quiet the sound is and if it's still too loud then I will install the switch. I might just install it anyways. Off to bed. Thanks again everyone. I will post back in the morning how my sound is.

Well, to tell you the truth, I can't tell whether the sound is lower or not. I am going to try the cotton balls this evening after work until the L-Pad comes. I just cannot play it with no sound at all, but I may be divorced if I play it this loud with the hubby at home.
