Eddie, did you ever go to a place on Long Island called Nunley's? It use to be in Baldwin on Sunrise Hwy. They had many of these games there. It was a shame they closed it down to put up a Pep Boys.

Ya gotta love Marvin He sold me an Irritating Maze a few years ago. It blows air in your face when you hit the sides of the maze. HAHA I never tell first time players, and it is always hilarious to see the look on their faces when that happens. My friend list has dwindled considerably over the years... I wonder why .

I really miss all those arcades in Times Square. I think it was Playland that was open on both sides (was it Broadway and 8th ?). I ALWAYS cut through there. Made me late back to work more than once. Then there was a HUGE one right near to Beefsteak Charlies (maybe it was there before the restaurant) which was two floors, but I cant remember the name of it.

PS - I Loved that Shark Harpoon game, and the one with the little car on the spring that shook the steering wheel when you crashed. WOW Force Feedback all the way back then

I grew up in the middle of nowhere, so I haven't seen some of those. But I do remember a lot of them. And they were wonderful.

Here's where we went as kids in the late 50's and early 60's. 140 acre amusement park on the northwest side of Chicago.

some neat postcards here, it was like a huge Alladin's castle atsomsphere

they had a huge penny arcade, and it was 2 cents to get in day to get in the park once a week

Yup that was it. Playland and later it was Fascination. It had some very old machines some that are not on Marvins page.

Never been there. Too far from Manhattan LOL.
There is one Arcade left in the city The venerable China Town Fair in China town. Its much smaller now as it does not have its museum any more and there are only Video Machines.
and the Dancing Tic Tac Toe Chicken is gone.
