Two years later and this thread is still interesting. Just got my first machine yesterday, joined the board today. I also have the Aladdin II. Any luck on finding a play manual for the machine? Looking forward to the board!

I have had a quick look in our 'Research Centre' and cannot see a manual there, and our 'Downloads' section has this one, not sure if it is the one your are looking for??

This looks similar, I am wondering if if it for Aladdin (not Aladdin 2) but I have printed and will look. I did check the manuals section, didn't think about the downloads section. I will dig more there for more information. Thanks for the quick reply and help!

Just picked up an Aladdin II Evolution. The machine is missing the coin acceptor box and payout box inside. Therefore, once you reach 50 credits, it cannot payout. Does anyone know where I could get the missing parts? Thanks...I'm located in Ontario Canada.

Hello you pachinate people,

First post but wondering if anybody's home.

Recently I purchased an Aladdin II Evolution (Cherry) and like others, discovered it to be seriously too loud. So after searching and reading, I see there is quite a range of variable resistors that have been successfully installed.

Today I picked up two types and was wondering if anyone would be able to advise on the best one I should use (if any).

1. 1 K ohm, 1/2 Watt, 25 turn
2. 100 ohm, 64 Watt, 25 turn

I take it you install it using an outside & an inside wire?
The Aladdin has four 8 ohm 10 watt speakers.

What do you think?
