Default My light box belly glasses!

Well, got 2 made... they look pretty darn neat... still working on where to place the automatic one (I have like 4 bellys that fit and can change out)!

I will be doing more and trying to get fancier since I am getting the hang of using a table saw again!!

Now I need to move my neon indian motorcycle, it's too hidden!!

Thanks guys, the automatic one is just one of those screw in spiral flourescent bulbs... the neo magic is an actual tube from end to end (I forget the size).

I actually like the way the spiral screw in flourescent puts out the light better (at least comparing these two glasses).

We will see, I may make one more tomorrow (I think I am out of lumber though so I will have to go to Lowes) come to think of it I might be out of money (Damn lowes wish they took tokens).

The 1st box (Automatic) took 2 days to cut, sand paint, glue and screw together.

2nd one I completed and had it painted and on the machine in half a day (I used spray paint vs. oil and a foam roller on the 1st) plus I just learned to use my saw better. I also used the select lumber from lowes, cost more but alot less sanding and prepping. I figure in the 2nd one I had $10 in lumber, $10 for the light fixture w/ bulb, I had the paint and screws.

I want to try one out of Oak but it is alot of $ so maybe next wll be a poplar one (thinner then the ones I have been making and maybe some fancy mouldings, who knows. I am no cabinet builder nor claim to be one, any fool can buy power tools

Thank you everyone!! They're not perfect but I can always say that I built em myself with my bare hands!! (Good story to tell the grand children... "Well back in my day we used a table saw, not these laser things you whipper snappers use, etc."!!!)

Fancy is coming!! I am gettting better with my saw!

Today I made a Red Pulsar... nice and thin, a great wall mount one. My others are deeper and are nice to sit on top of the machines.

Poplar or Oak is calling my name... After I buy my next pinball I will try some of these more "expensive woods"!
