Got my first fever since building the cabinet. WOW was it nice not to have to keep filling the top payout hopper over, and over, and over during the fever. I love it!

Interestingly enough, this write-up was the starting point for a universal pachinko cabinet project that came up on Facebook just the other day. North America Pachinko Club just linked a video about it 3 days ago.

Who knew that something that I documented on here years ago would still be helping out the community in some shape or form...

Thanks for posting your journey in the making of this cabinet and great job! This is my first day in the pachitalk community and I enjoyed reading this thread. About two months ago, I decided to put a game room together and started purchasing numerous vintage pieces to include a 1986 Valley coin-op pool table, 1975 Chicago Coin Red Baron pinball machine, 1960 Bally Circus Queen bingo pinball machine, 1967 Pepsi vending machine, 1970 Bally nickel slot machine, 1977 Keno machine, 1970's poker machine, a quarter candy vending machine, and a 1972 Nishijin pachinko machine. Believe it or not, the most expensive piece I purchased was the pool table for $200. Needless to say, I have a lot of projects going on, lol! However, I am most intrigued by the pachinko machine. So much so, I went and bought two more 1970's machines this week. I am in the process of cleaning and polishing all three of them, but I want to start on building custom wall cabinets for each of them. It's guys like you and Ken that make it easier for us newbies to get in game with minimal frustration by posting these threads and cabinet plans...so thank you again!!
