    Default Star Wars un-grounded sound

Got Star Wars turned on this morning and right away I noticed it had a lot of noise and buzzing coming from the speakers. Then I noticed that the buzzing perfectly matched the pattern of lights for the attract mode. I thought to myself "hmmm seems like there is a grounding problem here..."

I turn the machine around, and up in the upper right corner there is a big, fat, green grounding wire attached to a screw and... then it's CUT!

That'd be it hunh?? I looked at my Indy machine which, while it has some speaker hiss cause it's obviously too loud, but it doesn't have the buzzing in-sync with the light show. I looked in the back and of course the green wire was not cut and ran behind the reward chute.

Haven't taken the time to open Star Wars up yet cause I have other things to do and I also wanted people familiar with the frame to chime in with their advice before I start messing with wiring.

That noise is normal, you will never notice it while playing. I don't think it has anything to do with the grounding wire. When you have fixed the volume situation... It will pretty much be undetectable.

All my Lumina Frames do that

Hmm... well I'm definitely not getting any shocks. I'm not so sure whether it's a grounding issue or not. I called the support number for these and the guy said it's normal for them to cut that grounding wire...

It is undetectable when playing, and it's probably going to disappear when I put the volume controls on. My only concern was that the Indy machine right next to it, in an identical frame, doesn't make the buzzing noise...

Anyways, back to my night job... listening to white noise from outer space hoping to find an intelligent signal
