My latest purchase from CF

The Yoshimune Blue I ordered had two problems.

A loose circuit board with a pulled plug and three wires out of it. I was able to figure out which wire went where and get the left reel internal LED's working.

The other problem is two of the 4 belly glass bulbs (the pencil thin ones with one wire at each end) would take 2 minutes to come on. Tonight they would not come on at all.

I e-mailed Tom at CF last night (Thursday) and told him of the problems. When I got home from work tonight (Friday) I had an e-mail back from him already :

I sent him The pic's of the bad bulbs tonight.

To date, I have had nothing put a positive expericence with CF and Tom. 3 machines so far. Julie, Kagetsu Densetsu and the latest, Yoshimune Blue. Any problems I have had have been worked out and I have had no problems contacting him on the phone in the last 3 months.

I feel I should chime in here too. I have had nothing but good experiences with Tom (CF) as well. I have ordered two pachinkos from him, and no problems.

My wink pachinko is OTW, and should be here next week. I'll report back L8R

Although its been a number of months since I got something from CF they were nothing but helpful. Tom replaced the glass on my Evangelion that was broken in shipping - no questions asked.

Too bad the tried to artificially inflate prices on ebay...

The last picture he spoke of was the 12 wire cable that I was able to repair. He wanted to send that out too and even sent me back two clearer pictures of it to make sure we were on the same page. I told him that I did not need it.

I had the pleasure of getting my Indy from them, they emailed me right away back with a question I had and then I called them the next day for a tracking # which they answered on the 1st call and gave me it.

I would deal with them again... as soon as I buy the wifes Sopranos Pinball, then I will be back on my pachi kick!!

Hello all,

Just a follow -up to my earlier post w.r.t. Wink Pachinko from CF.

It was packed so well, that Fedex couldn't destroy it... and believe me... they tried hard

Machine is extra clean, and they tossed in colorful flyers and other tidbits (gotta love tidbits)

I'll post some snaps on Saturday, and maybe a movie, if I can work that out.

Up date on Yoshimune's belly bulbs.

Apparently those small thin tube bulbs do not allow you to disconnect the wires from their ends. Instead of just sending me the two bad tubes Tom is sending me out a complete 4 tube set with the entire wiring harness including plug. :

Hello, sorry we are taking time to send to you parts.

We send to you whole light panel including 4 light bulbs.

You need to take out screw and there is one connecter back of light panel that you could reach form behind of front door.

I know you could figure out easily but just incase.

The Belly glass light assembly arrived today.

Got things swapped out and all four bulbs are working now. Plus I now have a spare PC light board as a back up if the one on the machine ever goes out.
