Default Giant Pulsar from Gaku mini review!

I got my Giant Pulsar from Gaku yesterday, and it arrived in perfect condition. The machine looks like it came off the factory floor, very clean and shiny. No need for volume controls they are already built in with just the right adjustment to my ears. The LCD screen is very impressive, its 12 wide by 4 tall. There are two layers of glass with one having grass and the other having two fireflies on each side that light up. This gives the machine a 3D affect. The graphics are very crisp, no jaggeed edges at all. Compared to the Aladdin Evolution LCD screen, Giant Pulsar is by far better quality. The fan although is loud that cools the LCD screen. Sound wise the Giant Pulsar has 4 speakers
the two at the bottom are 30w and the top two are 8w. The sound is good and reminds me of NeoPlanett. The light show is also good, and has an attract mode where the LCD screen shows some animation and the reels go through a light show. I have put at least 3000 tokens into this machine so far and have not hit a single Regular Bonus or Big Bonus. Only thing I've seen have been the fire flys light up and I hit a couple bells for 8 tokens. The machine feels like an IGT machine very solidly built. I will have pics later today!

    Congrats on your new machine.

What do you have the Pay Out setting at? I always Try 3 or 4 first which lets you see things you normally would not at a 6 setting. HAVE FUN WITH IT ! ! !

I had it at 6 and now its set to 5. I bought a PachiSTAT awhile back and it shows all the stats in the machine. I just looked at it and it says the machine is paying out at 50% with no RB or BB. I have put 3257 tokens in!

    Thanks Chrish,
The camera is a 6.1 megapixel Kodak Easy Share Z650. It has a video option on it and I had it set to 5.3 megapixels on the camera options. I also used a tripod which is worth its weight in gold for as many times as I use it. As you may have noticed at the end I forgot to fill the hopper and ran out of tokens. I got the E-3 error and did not know how to fix it.

The King of King Pulsar was kind of a let down play wise. The Giant Pulsar was supposed to make up for it with more animations and bonus rounds. The Giant Pulsar also has fire flies on each side of the screen. They both have the same LCD screen though . Gaku has both KoKP and Giant Pulsar.

Here is an old vid that I took of my First pachislo KOKP.

Now you can compare the two machines.

They are very close, just a couple differences. I think they are only 1 or 2 years apart as to being released. Gaku has both for the same price $209 including shipping!
