All I will say, since I don't know for sure what happened to his posts, is that he made some comments that were somewhat off-topic that were a little "harsh." He went back and changed a couple of his posts after they were read but not responded to yet. It got a little hairy for a while. As I mentioned above somewhere in here, he pacman sent me a PM appologizing and such, and I told him that I was fine with him, etc, etc...

But enough of that... Welcome to the party!

I guess I need to spend more time at the computer, I miss all the best stuff. Oh well. You will love Arby's machines. My son has one and it was the cleanest machine I ever took out of the box. First class all the way.

Well, tomorrow is the big day. I've got my Crazy Combat sitting by the door, all ready to be loaded up in the company van. I make the 2 hour trek to see Arby tomorrow morning. While I am there, I will be leaving the Crazy Combat and picking up the Lumina frame, plus the Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Julie cells... Then, I have some work meetings to go to while I am there, and then I'll head home, unload everything and depending on the time either head back to my office to get my car, or maybe just wait until Wednesday morning to make it back to the office and make it an "early" day.

Gotta love it when you can coordinate a personal trip with a business one so that you don't have to pay for gas.

And for those people that sent me a note, yes, I have the camera ready to go. If anyone has a request for a photo of something in particular, make your request tonight (Monday night). I will check here one last time around 7:30AM central time USA (-6 hours GMT).

Well, I'm off to get some stuff done tonight before tomorrow's trip.

Maybe the Mods need to make another entry in the Museum for Arby's Place. The server probably doesn't have enough room for all of it but from the pics I've seen posted here it could be a huge idea?

OK. Pictures to come later. I just got back from visiting Arby and visiting with a business partner and a client for work. I just had enough time to un-bubble wrap the machine (which Arby put the Julie cell into for me) play it for about 5 minutes, and un-bubble wrap the Indy and Star Wars cells, which were still in factory shrink wrap under the bubble wrap. Anyway, now I need to go back to my office for 2 hours, and then run kids around tonight. But then... Picture time...

PS. I love hour "Talk Like A Pirate Day" is tomorrow, yet people are breaking out in their scurvy-talk early... Arrrrrr me maties... Oh no... It be happenin' to me too...

Back in the office, and what do I do... Check my work email and then BAM, back on PachiTalk... Gotta love being the boss in the office.

Glad that the cookies are working out Arby! They weren't as big as the ones that luckydog shows in his post, but I did bring 24 cookies.

Try driving 1900 miles for that visit!
That Crazy Combat looks like it's Hannibal Lector'd in the back of a prison van for a prison transfer. Now to get a run up that way, some day.

Hey, just trying to keep the crazy combat safe! Actually, I could have done without the ropes. The floor in that van have a rubber coating and nothing moved around.

There was way more than I could photograph. I did see the gold balls just behind and on the floor (in sealed bags and in ball trays for protection) next to my machine. I didn't get a real close look though. I didn' want to be tempted since I just ordered 3000 balls off fleabay.

I parked just across the street in the "15 Minute" parking.

On an interesting note, I think that I may have started to "convert" my wife to the ways of pachinko.

I told her that I wanted to show her the new machine (which currently has the Julie cell in it). My 8 year old loved it, so now was my chance to convince my wife. It was a slow start. Not much happening and she said something like "I don't get it..." I knew I was in trouble. Then she started getting the balls into some of the targets, and then it was non-stop fun, and me scrambling to refill the top hopper (remember, I only have about 450 balls until my fleabay order gets here). Then she did it... TO - KI - O... FEVER TIME! Not only that, but a Chance came up and she got to pound on the chance button to control the flippers in the upper playfield. She then started saying things like "look at all of the colors of the lights" and "your old one wasn't this cool" (sorry compirate, but the extra "bling" of the Lumina frame helps)... Then she said "how long does it take to switch out the games"... I said about 5 minutes, but I wanted to show my oldest daughter the Julie one first, and by now, she was in bed. So tomorrow I will show off Julie one more time, and then drop in Star Wars or Indy.

A few things that I didn't mention before, but Arby gave me the sides, top, and wooden "funnel" part of a cabinet for the machine. I may end up using it in my wall mount, but if not, I will let someone know here and pass along the kind gesture to someone else. The WAY cool thing was the Star Wars promo pack I got. I guess these were only given out on rare occasions (to pachinko parlors & dealers) and definately not with every machine. It is 98% Japanese, but the picture are cool to look at. Arby also included a CD with various documents about my 3 machines. I haven't even looked at it yet as I was busy playing tonight, but will check it out tomorrow.

Well, that is all for now. A great day today for me. Now I get to go to bed and try to get 6 hours of sleep before I have to get up to take my oldest daughter to show choir practice... Why do they have to make it BEFORE school???

Oh, I almost forgot... That magnet grabby-tool... Is that for picking up all of the runaway pachinko balls?
