    Default I've been Arby-fied!

Thanks to this great site, I didn't buy a Star Wars from someone on eBay. Instead, I spent a LOT more and bought basically a Star Wars, plus an Indiana Jones cell and a Julie cell all from Arby...

I like supporting the "local" guy more than eBay, plus Arby is "da man" for Pachinko. Besides, I can drive 90 minutes from my house to pick them up in person... Maybe I should bring a camera... Anyway, I've officially been Arby-fied!

I feel like I will get an A+, top notch, awesome machine from Arby, and to me that is worth it...

Now, I just need to find a good source for some pachinko balls, AND sell my current pachinko (which is available in the Pachi-Auction)...

    A tattoo of a pachinko?

It sounds like I need to bring some chocolate chip cookies with me too (per suggestion for posting my for sale pachinko listing outside of the Pachi-Auction... It is now out there.)

I have all three of those models. My Star Wars and Julie came from Arby, pristine and beautiful. My Indiana Jones come from fleabay, samurai slots. It was dirty and almost all the lights are out on the case and have been since the second time I turned it on. Since they have a 30 minute warranty, well I had to buy bulbs for it. I may have paid less but it wasn't worth it.

I got my Star Wars from Arby, it was incredible. I bought my Julie elsewhere, it was incredibly dirty and a little bit wobbly. You will be very happy!!!

You bought very wisely getting them from Arby. I live in the UK and when I can I buy from the main man.

I think with you living so close to Arby you could end up spending a lot of money over the coming months

But really... I can't see anything special about Starwars.
I think it's mostly because of the fact that it's a well known (american) theme and for many people it was their first machine.
I Love Pachinko, in fact I think that people who are afraid of japanese themed pachinko are the ones who should ask themselves if pachinko is the thing for them.
After all, pachinko is 100% japanese.

Obviously everyone is entitled to have and air an opinion, but I think you will find that the majority of Members here really really rate the Star Wars Pachinko as being one if not THE best of the Modern Pachinkos on the Market today.

Vintage Pachinkos and Older pachinkos are enjoyed too and the Pure Japanese themed ones also have a fanbase...

It would be wrong to dismiss a Pachinko purely for it being perceived as too Commercial or too Westernised??

Surely the enjoyment of Pachinko is based on Playability and wonder at these amazing Machines!!

Doh... I was using my scroll wheel on my mouse and accidentally hit the "Groan" button while scrolling. Sorry. It wasn't meant to happen.

Not sure why you chose this thread to be the first on to post in, but hey... You gotta start somewhere.

Welcome to the forums. Thank you for sharing your opinion.
I think that the following holds true for everyone and for any machine... "If you don't it, don't buy it. If you find something you do like, grab it up before you regret it."

With that said, what are some of the machines that you like? I am curious to know, so please post (with pictures would be great), so that we can learn about some other potentially great machines.
