I offered him a special 'memory' tonic so's he'd remember his wallet more often, but he wasn't havin' any!

I appreciate the offer, but I'd rather pay for it to get it than the other way!

I like that GPS for a bike. Runnin' a little fast at some point, weren't we?!

That's a sweet GPS! Sometimes my little screen is a pain when I'm looking for alternate routes to avoid construction zones when I don't have a paper map backup. However, this little unit has served me well for 3 1/2 years.

Made it from Daytona (I raced there Fusa/CCS) in 16 hrs to NYC in my Van.

On the way home I ran into Dale Earnhardt on I 95 He was heading home from the 500. I waved to him in his black van and he made the gesture (Wanna Race) I nodded and for over 1/2 hr we were doing 110mph It was sick dodging cars in a van like that. Funny thing is, we were dead even he would get in front then I would. Eventually he slowed and waved goodbye alongside me and then pulled off to his exit.

Stopped only for gas no food or bathroom stops just wanted to get home. The First tank of gas I filled with the Race Gas that I had left over. One expensive tankfull but the Van ran great LOL.

Thats a great idea! Too funny.

My friend has a KLR and he loves to eat I have to tell him about it.

Who's your friend? We might know each other.

The Zatarains stuff is all good: jambalaya, red beans & rice with sausage, sausage & chicken gumbo, dirty rice with pork. I prefer the varieties that include meat, but the bags of rice are all good too. I also use Uncle Ben's microwave-in-bag rice and my favorite is Santa Fe (has black beans, red pepper and whole wheat). I've also had chicken marinara and chili from "Sweet Sue", which was pretty decent, and the tuna steaks & fillets in the foil pouch is great stuff. Once, I had Indian food in a pouch. I got it at BigLots of all places. It was excellent, but I never could find it again.
When I'm not heating food whilst in the saddle, I'll boil the bags/pouches in water over my Primus OmniFuel stove. I did a lot of that on my 6,000 mile trip to Labrador and my 3,300 mile Gaspe Peninsula trip.

I never did take any long bike trips, my back and rear couldn't take it.

50 to 75 miles was my distance limit

but, we would go trail riding for hours on end
