Default info on my machine needed please>>>>

OK, so I'm an extremely newbie here... And to these machines.. My fascination started 25 years ago when a friend had a brother stationed in Japan and he sent one of these home for the family. We'd play for hours.
I came across this machine a couple months ago and picked it up, knowing it needed some time and effort..
    That's why I'm here.
After some doing I managed to get voltage to the 10 volts it needs. The top light lights up, but nothing else seems to work yet.
Seems like a switch is missing in the middle back, but how one would work there I don't know.

Age, thoughts, anything you can lend a hand with will be of help to me. I'd like to be able to turn this game on and just play...
Oh, the balls have cool shapes on them too... I'm imagining some of these could be original???

    Thanks,
    Will

    Will,

Take a look at these items from another post in this section.

    http://www.pachitalk.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=261 Dead Linc

It's taken from a repair manual for older pachinko's.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

    Willrunk,
I was in a very similar situation just a few weeks ago, getting back into Pachinko with an old machine and wanting it to work perfect.

OK, from what I can see in the pics, all of your switches are there. There are only two and the wiring going to them is correct as well. They made need to be cleaned a little where they make contact to complete the circuit.

From the way you have it wired to a power source, I bet the top light stays lit all the time right? I did that at first too, but that is not correct. The top light shouldn't light until the machine runs out of balls to pay the rewards.

Look at the back again and see if there is another contact to hook a wire up just a little to the left of the orange connection. If so, disconnect the one you have hooked up to the yellow one and connect it to the one next to the orange one. It should be a small connection that is made to be tightened with a phillips head screwdriver. If there is no connection there, then disregard this.

    Hope this helps.
    Paul

Yes, one of those posts is a signal OUT to tell the parlor that a machine is out of balls. if you hook power to that terminal, the balls out light will stay on permanently.
