    Default Making Rocky cyclic

Has anyone made the cyclic mod to a Rocky the Movie pachinko? I have it apart and it looks like the only way to do it is to cut out a hole in the metal right behind the hole where the balls drop thru. Its the only way I see to combined the losing balls with the balls that go into award pockets. Am I making this more complacated then I have to? Is there an easy way.

I haven't played with that frame. But generally, what I do is open em up and follow all the paths, drop a ball in the holes, and see where they go and then decide where new ball paths need to be.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

The balls that go into the start pocket and the winning side pockets are easy enough. The losing balls that go thru the bottom hole I would normaly bridge over to the winning balls but in this frame there is a piece of sheet metal in the way. If I cut a square out of the sheet metal the rest of it should be fairly smooth.

Usually it's just a simple hole or ramp that is needed. You've done your other machines, so you know what I am talking about. As always just make sure the ball path is smooth as glass.

Sweet. And mine even has a custom built wood case for hanging on the wall.

This is the first game I have seen that there is metal is to removed. Its always just been plastic before. I see what I have to do, I was just wondering if there is something I'm overlooking or another way to get around cutting the metal. I'm sure my Dremmel can handle it. Since its in a case and its semi cyclic right now anyway, I think I'll just leave it alone for a while till I decide what I want to do with it. If I decide to sell it, it might be better to leave it in its origanal condition.
When I first plugged it in the hopper started to run with no ball in it. Thats the loudest hopper motor I ever heard. It was overpowering the music. First thing I did was unplug power to the hopper. On first impressions this is a pretty sweet game. Its the cool the little details, like when Adrean closes her eyes when the reel stops and starts again.
I picked up an Austin Powers too but we were more drawn to the Rocky. I'll give the Austin Powers a work out tonight.
