Default "Lights Out" Kyorako Volcano frame door ;(

    Hello,

I have many lights out on the light panels in my Volcano Frame door. Looks like there is at least one and many in sequence, out on each board. About half (or so) are working. Jiggling the main cable makes certain LEDs on specific boards go out. I managed to get as many on as I could by positioning the cable into the frame, but I sure could use a few tips

    Help please

    Thanks so much iin advance

try unplugging the connections on both ends of the cable and reseating it.

if they light if you move the cable then its probably a case of pin corrosion you might try a solution they sell at radio shack it comes in a bottle or a pen for removing oxidation on electrical contacts but it isnt cheap i think the pen costs in th $20 range but it works well .

    Thanks Jeff,

Some of the lights are affected by the jiggling, but there are quite a few that don't light up at all regardless of cabble jiggle.

Would acetone work to try out what you suggested? Otherwise, I guess I can make the trip to Rat Shack

    OK here's the scoop...

I went behind the machine and located the terninal that the ribbon cable "plugged" into.

I fugured "if the front one is loose, maybe the one in the back is flaky as well.

1 jiggle later from the back, and ALL LEDs are now on

I guess you can't lose 'em all

    Thanks for the help
