    Default Thunderbirds Machine. Help Me

    Hello
I have just brought a thunderbirds pachislo machine (it is my first one). I can’t find a manual pacifically for the thunderbirds machine also there is a loud humming coming from the speakers and I don’t know how to stop it.
Also the machine only has three volume settings and even on the quietest one it is still really loud, how do I fit a volume control to reduce the volume?

    Can anybody help me please?
    Thanks Beakyx7

Hi beakyx7! Welcome to PachiTalk and congrats on your entry into a fine hobby! What you are experiencing now is typical of a new user. There is a search button up above, if you do a search on volume controls... volumes of info will come up. You will have to decide which option will be suitable for you. None of the machines really come with specific manuals, but there are certain aspects that are similar among all machines. There is info here about odds changing and resetting and there is a thread called "So you're new to Pachis" it will have some valuable information for you!

First of all Welcome to our little slice of imported happiness.

You will not find a model specific manual, unless someone form here has written one (which means they were in the same boat as you and decided to write down everything they learned as they played).
As to the humming noise, adding volume controls usually helps cut out the hum.

Have you read the top section on the main page about the frequently asked questions? Most all of this is in there and it will help you out tremendously if you are new to the hobby.

Thank you ever so much for your help. Especially for the thunderbirds manual.

I am now curious as to what the two switches inside the machine do. The two underneath the rate change key and reset buttons (the two that the manual does not describe the uses of)

Does anybody know what these are for?

    Thanks Again

thats the 1st or second question always asked if you goto the frequently asked area or the file dawn sent you to you'd already have the answer but here it is anyway .the two switches control if you want to have the machine reset itself after a bonus round or require you to reset via key . the other controls if you want the machine to dump the 50 credits to the tray after a bonus or keep them banked for further use .most people don't touch them because its a pain reloading the tokens and getting up to reset the machine every time someone hits a bonus .

i talked to a dealer about the humming noise that comes from my Thunderbird's as well, he stated it's normal for that particular model. will have to look into a volume control because it IS extremely loud even on the lowest setting. maybe that's why the humming is so noticeable.

You only have the music when you get a ball into the middle slot.
When the slot machine mode comes on.
    Otherwise its pretty quiet.

Hi, I have a thunderbirds Slot Machine as well and am desperately trying to find a manual for it. I notice the links above do not work anymore. Would anyone have a copy of the thunderbirds.pdf?

    Thanks for your time.

I see two entries in the Research Center for Thunderbird Pachislos. Which one do you have?

The first link is for the general operation of Pachislos... http://www.pachitalk.com/museumpics/...0Operation.pdf

This is for Thunderbirds III... PachiTalk Research Center - Fuji - Thunderbirds III - PachiTalk

and this one is for Thunderbirds Neo... PachiTalk Research Center - Fuji - Thunderbirds NEO - PachiTalk

I hope these links help you... there is not much printed material available for these machines, but another member may have something to help you out.
