Default What model do I have?

I bought this pachinko machine at a thrift store (can you believe that??) but I can not read Japaneese. So, I've taken a few pictures of the screen when it is showing what I believe to be the name of the machine. Can anyone tell me what this says?

    Hello and Welcome

Can you take another picture of the whole machine front?
It might help someone to identify it

    Nice machine.

    Welcome to the forum.
    WOW! Thanks!

I had no idea it was 'that' new
Is there any other information you can give me about this machine? Like is there a volume mod that would work for it? I've switched the switch so that its on low now but its still pretty loud.

I'm also curious if there are chips I can buy to replace the voice. Actually, there is a song she sings and it IS in English but during normal game play the voice is in Japanese. And as you can tell all the text is in Japanese also.

    THANKS for the info

Also have you read through the first section on the main page at the top titled "So You're New To Pachis" It goes over alot of the basics, and will answer alot of questions if you are new to the hobby.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

    Nice Pachinko.
    Welcome to Pachitalk.
You found the right place to find out about your great find.
Try searching for volume controls on the forum and you will get a lot of information.

I think that out of all my machines, that only one could be played without volume controls, and I had to put them on that one too, because the lowest setting was too quiet and the next one up was too loud.
I have used in-line resistors in all my machines. I have tried many sizes and have settled on small 500 to 1000 ohm variable resistors. They are only rated 1/8W but I haven't had one get too hot yet. They are small and after you get them set, you can hide them so that you will have a hard time finding where you put them if you ever want to turn the machine up.

Sakura is a beautiful machine!! Nice find!

Highly unlikely you'll ever figure out how to replace the sound clips or music. It's buried in ROM somewhere.

Thank you all for the warm welcomes

I have looked at a few of the threads about volume controls but this machine has 4 speakers in all so the volume control solutions do not seem to apply. I've found where all of the speaker leads plug in at and would be able to add a volume there but I don't know if anyone even makes a 5 pot volume control.
I'm also curious to see if I can do something with the two buttons in the front hehe.

Thanks again for all your help and suggestions. Pachinko IS addictive! I'm already thinking about getting another one LOL!

Welcome, nice machine. I've heard that the flowers move/change as it goes through "seasons" with different colored lights.

I have the same problem. It is the same frame as "Santa Maria", all the wires are grey. The speakers are in pretty tight spots that are not easy to get to. But you could probably get by on just putting controls on the two side speakers. Someone did a pinout of the plug on the sound card. Can't seem to find it now.

Cell swap is very easy between these two and two others, one is called "Chaiyuki" the other is "Jungle Beat". So easy as cave man like me can do it.

Two of these would work. Rated for 15 watt each channel. I have on in my Dragon Dice and it adjusts down to a whisper.

Never have had a problem with burnout. Have some more on the way to put in my machines. They also have a single channel.

You have to add controls at the sound board connector. I didn't think the Flame frames had 4 speakers...thought it was 3 - a left, right and woofer...I'll have to check my machine later. You'll have to use a separate pot for each channel. I think I just used fixed resistors on this one.

I've only had the machine for a week now but yes the branch moves and the colors change. I guess its according to seasons?
Not sure what you meant by "Cell swap" though.

Thanks to birdbrain and new in town for the links. I'll check them out now

fronzdan, I was counting what looks to be a tweeter down by the woofer as a speaker too. Maybe thats just a air port or something. Anyway, thanks for the tips guys!
