I can't wait to play them as I won several pong and arkanoid contests locally many moons ago! and I can't wait for the head to head competition that they might do also according to the announcement!!

The only skill that I have seen lately on slots is this one lady that my girlfriend and I watched play the latest Cleopatra II video slot. She told us she could see the bonus symbols somehow and touching the individual reel areas on the screen she was able to stop the reel in time to place the bonus symbol for the first 3 reels on the screen maybe 1 outta 50 spins average. She could get one bonus symbol on the screen about 1 outta 5 times!
Of course we tried it and couldn't even see the bonus symbol flying by. So I guess it can be called a skill if you have weird eyesight. Or maybe it was the La Bayou hurricane drinks doing a number on us

But Sid's find truely is exciting to hear about and hopefully they will get it approved in Nevada also!

According to what a slot machine is, though, shouldn't where the reels stop be predetermined, i.e. when stopping them all you are doing is shortening the animation, not "skill-stopping" the reels.

Yes everything we have read and been told is that slotmachines predetermine the payoff before you spin the reels. She claimed she plays the Men In Black machines the same way also.
Hmmmm maybe she was a paid shill for the casino?

Doubt it - everyone has their own made-up preconceptions of slot machines... just look at any myth site about gambling... it happens all of the time.
