    Default Star Wars Pachinko Question

    Hi All,

First off, thanks for putting such a great resource together, esp for a newbie like me! (The Internet is such an awesome thing, can't imagine how I found stuff without it)

I found Pachinko while browsing though Ebay a few weeks ago, read up on what this whole thing is here and then took the plunge this week. My machine arrived yesterday but I'm having a small problem that's probably really simple but I know someone here will know what it is immediately...

I bought the "Star Wars" Machine... it's SOOO Sweet! The problem is that I can't figure out how to fill the "Rewards Bin" I fill the top hopper and then I pull up the holder (looks like a brass ball retaining clip) in the ball channel just to the right of the hopper. The ball will fill that bin (the reward one I think?) but a few seconds after the balls are dispensed out to the top tray in front... thus the yellow "empty rewards bin" light goes on.
The, lets very loosely call it, "instructions manual" that came with it specifically states something about a key for the rewards spring. It's suppose to be on the right upper front? But I don't have a key (picture looks like an Allen Wrench) and I don't see any place to insert anyway.

I am very mechanically inclined, I run contracting buisness from home and wanted it for the office here. So I could open the whole thing up and see what exactly makes it tick, but I'd rather not.

So any help is greatly appeciated.

    Thanks again!!
    Bill P.

PS: How many balls do I need to play effectively? It came with 500 but reading around the forum it looks like that's not anywhere near what's needed?

Sounds like your machine may be paying out past wins...

you may have to run th balls through it until it finishes its payout..

as for the amount of balls you are going to need about 1500 for best results of course the more the merrier...

    Oh and Welcome to Pachitalk...

Sounds like the white ball dump knob is turned to dump.

    Yup, Sid's right!
Just keep filling the hopper and eventually the machine will stop paying out.
I have also heard that if you do a hard reset the payouts will stop.
As I do not have a SW pachinko I will let others comment on the hard reset.
OR it could be the dump knob as Arby has mentioned.
Welcome to the insanity that is PACHINKO ADDICTION.

It didn't look exactly like a phone booth but I couldn't figure out what else it could be. I never watched Dr.Who. Its a pretty cool avatar.
