    Default Volume Control Question

Other than right near the spakers... Does anyone know how to identify the wires in the Lumina Frame so I can install volume controls low in the front of the frame, like above the ashtray?

If there is room to run it, run 2 wires for each speaker down to the ashtray from the speaker red + wire. Make sure you run the 4 wires down from the hinge side (left from front) and about 3 to 4 inches for slack for opening the case.

I don't think the speaker wire goes anywhere near the ashtray.

There are no speaker wires anywhere near the ashtray. You could cut the positives up by the speakers and feed "extensions" all the way down where you want through the back of the machine. Keep them as short as possible and away from the transformer, ac lines etc. You may introduce some additional noise, although it shouldn't be too bad. You could even put braided shield on the wire harness if you wanted to.

You could also cut the wires a lilttle farther down at the sound board. I don't know where it is off the top of my head. Download Daverob's frame manual.
