    Default Ball Polishing

Has anyone tried the $80 Bulldog Polisher for their balls?

I bought a knockoff on clearance at a rock store going out of business and used the walnut media and collinite metal wax.

It does improve the balls, but it is a slow process.

Just curious if anyone went with the Bulldog.

BTW, I called Flitz looking for their "Tumbler Additive" and they said it was the same as their normal stuff just a different label.

    i didn't use a ball polisher,

i just dipped them in CLR and rinsed and dried.

they all came out nice and shiny except for a few rusted ones.

it didn't take long at all.

it cleans tokens too, the brass ones come out bright, but not real shiny.

Big winner how would be the best way to use the cloth? put balls into bag with cloth and shake? Other method? I have a 1000 balls coming from slot USA. He says they will be hand picked so I am happy with them :smt044 . I think I will be needing to clean and polish them. There is of coarse the rusted balls that will be in with them. And I will be needing this REAL soon because they are sending them out today :smt042 . Laz.

I use the bulldog polisher. It's a slow process but does great on balls and tokens. It's not really a problem for me as I just keep it plugged in the garage and throw the balls or tokens in before I go to bed and let them run overnight. Cleans all but the rustiest balls. You can do 1,000 balls or 1,000 tokens at once or 500 30pai tokens. I use Master Formula ($14.50 shipped for a 16oz bottle) as the additive after I found out the flitz stuff was the same as their regular polish. Flitz works well too though but is more expensive. I am thinking that Big Winner's green is probably a similar polish that should also work well.

I also use the bulldog to derust and polish all kinds of stuff around the garage and arcade. screws, metal contacts, coins, whatever is handy. neat to see stuff come out after mixing around in there and it's all nice and shiny. Probably the pack rat in me that it appeals to. Oooohh, shiny!

I got some stainless steel pellets looks like a nO. 2 pencil lead 3/16" long.
I have tried them in a Rock vibrater with a very little tri-flow spray.
They com out after a day the balls are very shiney and smooth, fall right out of your hand.

I had the rock Vib. left over from when I use to cut opals.

how about spilling 2,ooo balls on hard floor and staple green scouring pads on the bottom of shoes. Than pretend to go ice skating, shiny ball an hour later and a great workout too.
