    Default Hanabi Hyakkei videos

    Chances are some of you have seen this machine already as it was a big seller, judging from the relatively high serial. I captured a video of a bonus round to show to friends and family what the whole Pachislo thing is about, which proved easier than describing it over the phone or email.

    Anyways I don't know if this will be of any value to anyone here but I just thought that i would throw it on, so here it is.

    Thanks for the video!
    I made a slight edit to your post for easier youtube viewing.

    Well that was nice to see...it's been so long since my Hanabi has hit any bonus. Seeing that, brings up an observation about the autostop mod...

    During the bonus round, you are given the opportunity to eye shoot the first reel on this machine (and I've seen this with other machines too). If you can shoot the triple Donchan on the first reel, you get a payout. I do not believe there is any reel slip at this time or if there is, it might slip one symbol in your favor, it is pretty easy to do, but you have to be close. In the video, this is when Donchan's girl kept sighing with disappointment after the firework fails. It appears that with the autostop engaged, you cannot shoot the first reel and thus you are getting much lower payouts. I think you'd want to shut the autostop off when in bonus rounds. Is this possible?

    Well, heheh, the thing was that, in the interest of capturing this video I left autostop on so my hands wouldn't get in the way. I used a tripod, so as it was I was 'stepping' over one of the legs just to reach the max bet button.

    This wasn't a skill video, it was just to show some long distance family and friends the device, who have not a clue what Pachislo even is.

    Ahh...so you CAN shut it off on the fly? Cuz that would make it a very cool mod indeed. I get a little bored trying to eye shoot during regular play, knowing that I'll only be successful if the machine will let me. This is when autostopping would be great. But I'd want to shut it off during bonus rounds.

    Is this your first pachislo? It was mine.

    you can usualy turn autostop off at any point by just holding down the correct stop butto i cant remember wich as its been a while i had one attached to a betty boop and it did only enhance the machine
    My rice krispies told me to do it

    I forgot to mention that I tried the 'dataclear' function shortly before shooting this video. I hadnt seen the bonus round for a long time before this. It took me just shy of an hour until I got to this bonus round, which wasn't bad considering I havent seen it in forever.
    I read that Dataclear supposedly only clears out the play/payout info, but who knows what hidden code lurks in these interesting machines?

    Im not saying it had anything to do with seeing the bonus again. I was getting kind of desperate (and a low batt) to shoot the video.

    Hanabi = Fireworks
    Hanabi Hyakkei I believe translates to "A Thousand Scenes of Fireworks"

    I just found one of these machines tucked away in an antique shop and bought it for my dad's gameroom. Only problem is I cannot read Japanese so it makes it difficult to translate. Can anyone offer any advice?
