Default Less than 24 hours left!

My very first pachinko is being delivered by DHL tomorrow and I am literally watching the clock. I haven't been this excited since Christmas eve as a child. The stand is sitting downstairs. I've read up on the FAQ threads. I am ready.

It arrived safe and sound about two hours ago and I already have a question. It is a semi-cyclic game. Now, I've read the FAQ's and it says for a fully cyclic game you do not fill the rear hopper, but do I fill it with a semi cyclic?

The balls I shoot are dropping into the very bottom tray once they leave the playfield. Then, I transfer them to the top front tray to put them back in. But, then does that mean there is no payout? Just want to make sure I am playing it correctly.

AND, if I am supposed to be filling the back hopper, then what am I doing wrong? When I dump balls in there they just fall into the top front tray.

I hope all this makes sense...

Regardless, I just hit my first fever and am having a great time with it! Thanks!!

Sounds like it has a bunch of payouts stored up. Keep filling the hopper until it stops.

All you need to do with the semi-cyclic is keep filling the hopper. It will payout when you win. Also make sure you don't let the lower tray fill up because the balls will back up all the way to the drain hole, eventually filling up in the playfield.

If you don't like semi-cyclic, you should be able to switch it back to parlor ready on that Sankyo frame. You just need a piece of plastic and a hot glue gun.

Generally you will be moving the lower tray balls to either the shooter tray or the top hopper, wherever they are needed.

Thanks Fronzdan! You were right. It came with about 900 balls. I poured them through the hopper about five times, then it suddenly stopped. Now, when I play, they pay out!

Thanks for EVERYONES help these past couple of weeks answering my various newbie questions. I need to go work on my 3rd fever, so you may not hear from me for a bit!

Speaking of Star Wars...is there any technique to shooting down the tie fighters? I just mash the Chance button when I think is the right time. Never got them yet.

I play mine with the hopper empty. I'm not concerned with small payouts and it becomes very distracting during fevers to keep up with shuffling balls around. I just enjoy the lights, video and sound. If you like the payouts then fill the hopper if not the game plays fine with an empty hopper. Semi cyclic is nice because you have that choice.
