    Default It's The Season

Please share with your fellow Pachi' freaks, your best and your worst Christmas gift, that has nothing to do with transfering of bodily fluilds.

    I will start.
    Best
The ownership of 5 acres of wild grounds land in England (I can't do anything with it, it is in reserve forest and game), I only have to pay taxes on it of a £138 a year and it's mine. I can visit it and even plant things.

    Worst
A blue pin striped Leasure suit (remember the 70s) and it didn't even fit.
It was funny, I got a long body with short legs. tho the wood leg is about i/2" longer than the other, so I tend to walk in circles if I don't watch where I am going.

man thats a tough one.best might have to be when i was just a wee lad maybe about 6 or 7 (hell maybe younger, dont quite know forsure) my dad got me an atari 2600. I remember sitting up late at night playing football and tons of other games on it with him.

Worst is even tougher, I dont get many bad gifts. I remember one christmas I got a really nice Bulova style watch. I shoed it off to all the family members and everyone liked it alot, next year an aunt bought me and my stepdad each the same watch which was a 25 dollar cheap imitation watch. I opened it and just sort of looked at it and was lthinking what the hell woudl I need this for? When i took it back it wasnt $35 it was 9.99! lol

Must be a very cheap watch. Even a broken watch has the right time twice a day.

Yeah, someone want a real true blue molex? Cheap, only $299.95!

    Okay back on subject...

Best Christmas present. When I was 10 (1969) I got from my Aunt two boxes, about 2 inches square and 10 inches long. I was mesmerized by them. When I unwrapped them I revealed, one salt shaker box and one pepper grinder box. Tall ones of course. I just kind of looked around the room with a quizzical look. Why would my Aunt get me salt and pepper shakers.. So I opened them and revealed (of course) not salt and pepper shakers but "D" size batteries. Now I was even more perplexed. Why did I need so many "D" batteries?

The my Uncle came into the room with this enormous Hot Wheels set!

That was such a great present.

The worst Christmas present? That's tough... I can tell you the worst outcome of one. When I was 7 I received a superman suit. Complete with cape and everything. My sister, a year and half older convinced me that I could fly just like Superman. So I crawled onto the roof, this was in Florida so the weather was nice enough for this. I crawled onto the roof and leaped high into the sky, well as high as a 7 year old can. Off the corner of the house was a small tree. I came to rest for a moment in that tree before I completed the plunge to the ground below. I was battered and bruised and crying and generally not in a very good mood.

During the landing at some point that today I still couldn't tell you, the shirt of the suit and come untucked. As I was laying there, dying, my was sister laughing as hard as she could. I'm dying and she's laughing. She was pointing to my untucked shirt. As I looked down, I noticed writing that said, "CAUTION This suit will not make you fly, only Superman can fly"...

    %_$(*$_($_)(_$&#^&48 suit!

lol, that is great Tulsa, ive heard horror stories like that before. If anyone listened to Bob and Tom the other day they had a few good ones. Went something like this....

Chick or his family got his dad a kitten for christmas one year and it was either put in a box or under the tree for him to see when he woke up. apparently the kitten got up in the tree and got caught in the wires and hung itslef, man how bad woudl that be to see on christmas morn!!!!

Another was of a family that got bicycles for the 3 or 4 daughters on christmas. They put them together and set them on the outside porch for a suprise in the morning. WHne the girls got up they were told santa left them all something special outside. Whne they ran out to see waht it was they found their family dog dead on the front porch!! Apparently it had been hit by a car the night before and died on the porch. Imagine the sound of 4little girls going from ultimate glee to shocked horror! These really arent funny, but you cant hlep but laugh at them!!
