    Default Sea Adventure

['ve just come back from my storage bunker in the Nevada desert with my Sea Adventure Pachislo Machine. It has been there for 5 years and was put there because half the medals would fall inside and not register. I thought I would dig it out for a private 7/7/07 party. I bought it in 1999 from slot dash pachinko dot com in 1999. Their site is not around but it did have a lifetime warantee (I know LOL).

I believe it is a Universal/Azure machine but I could be wrong. I'm sure someone here has seen one before and can set me streight. I enclosed a picture of the machine and a picture of its unique pay table. The pay table was the reason I bought it and was told that it is the only machine like this. I also enclosed a picture of it with Pua the pachi cat who can't wait till I fire it up. She has not seen a Pachislo before. I would have fired it up today but I could not find the keys with the machine or in the box of medals. I don't know what I did with them but I hope I did not leave them in storage.

This looks just like the Sakura Pachislo frame/case that Mike (Sacpinplayer) bought from me a year or so ago. The Sakura had the same configuration exactly as far as the lights. Same positioning of the bonus count led area plus also the 8 lights above the 777 in the upper area of the case. I do believe it was an Universal model.

You have a classic model in this one!

    Congratulations

Pachi-sloter gave me some more information on this machine and boy was I off. No wonder I could not find info on this one. Never even heard of this company. Thanks Pachi-sloter. I also found the key it was under the cardboard on the bottom with a rusty pachi ball, its got to antique. I dumped out the box outside full of crumbling foam and found it.

The actual name of the machine is just Adventure. When the machine was made, in 1996, the name of the manufacturer was Shokyusha (尚球社). The company name was changed to Okazaki Sangyo (岡崎産業) in 1998.

The Pachi cat is happy, we just finished playing Santa Maria. She likes this one because the mechanism on the back is all clear plastic. She is looking at the top hopper waiting for a payout.

I've made a rather crude atempt at a movie of this machine in action on 7/7/07. Putting the coin guide in correctly really helped and removing 4 bent tokens and a good cleaning got it running almost flawless. Oddly I had to replace a bulb, for the replay light, the same one when I bought it. It is the only one I ever replaced.

Darn am I awful and it is hard to do the camera and play at the same time. The first video is showing the basic operation and how easy it is to eye shoot. No wonder this machine was not very popular in the casinos and just about everything but the bonus pays only 3.

Here is another playing the 3rd. part of the big bonus, I failed filming part 1 and 2 and 3 is not too good.

Later in the day I got a big and a small bonus round on this machine and emptied the hopper of 600.

BTW, In this photo album you will see a picture of the 7-11 on the corner turned into a quik-e-mart for the simpsons movie.

New information with mine, it powers up with with errors.

starts with an error 4. will scan and post the Japanese code when I can.
keyswitch turned and red reset button pushed, hopper begins spinning then errors again to a c3 code
door open or hopper enable black switch will give a c1 or a c6 error code.

    Damn, hope the manual exists...

my last post got munched, sorry. Mainly into aarcade games, used to design then. Picked up a Sea Adventure. Looks in great shape, at least an A-, and if I clean off the dust, a solid A. I won't say how much I paid, except that I pay more for a full tank of regular for my honda civic.

Since I do electronics, I got a little information to post up on it what I figured out so far if it is of any use to anyone who has any of these or similar ones from the company.
