If you had a nautical themed room in your house it would be perfect.

Too bad you'd have take all those nails out to custom it. It would make a great St. Louis Rams pachinko! :?

But you can put them back in. Very carefully. you twist as you nail cause the end has a slow thread to them.

If you have someone who could airbrush the face then the nails are not really an issue and get painted right along with the background. :smt025

All the pachinko's come with that "ultra smooth lustre finish". It reminds you of a picture on the back of your fish tank. Not sure how well you could airbrush over that.

Still something to check into as opposed to pulling nails.

Plus, you would need to figure a way to clean the background, or the paint wouldn't stick....

What every they have painted with it doesn't seem to wear. Even the old machines done show wear.
But than I have not seen 100s, just a few.

I would guess they spray a final coat of something like Aluminum Oxide for protection. At least I think that's what they use!

Similiar to wood laminate flooring of today.

I only know about it because I am getting ready to put in some new flooring in my house!

Here is a quote from a wood floor site:

How To Tell If I Have An Aluminum Oxide Surface Finish?
If the retail store brings out that steel wool trick trying to prove how durable the finish is, chances are very good it has some type of aluminum oxide finish on the surface. Other clues would be the texture of the finish. Is it rough compared to others? If so chances are good the top coat is aluminum oxide.
The rough part isn't really "rough" from what I have seen.

I am sure a quick google search will turn up more than we can imagine!

Might be a good add on sell in your inking business. :smt104
