    The Gamblecraft programs are excellent!
My favorite to learn the ropes of a game is their other program... Video Poker Coach. Try it out. It's not flashy, but if you put enough time on it, it WILL improve your play! It's the best trainer I've found.

I used the trial until I realized it was helping for real, and started walking away a winner consistently... then I bought it. I figured I owed the guy a cut.

Here's another little gift for you (I feel gifty today)...

Try your new skills out for free!

I like the 50 play... in a real casino, I look for those or the 100 play. Max bet, but for pennies. Once you play, you'll begin to understand why! 8-)

Just send me (and gwarzin) the money you would have lost if you hadn't known about these.

I just ordered an auto-stop chip. The chip lets you play normally if you press any of the buttons within 2 seconds of starting the spin. If you don't hit a button within that 2 seconds, auto-stop takes over. Seems to me, that is the best of both worlds? 8-)

    Who's autostop is it?

The only problem I would have is that, if I'm really trying to hit a specific symbol, it takes me more than 2 seconds to get the timing right before I'm ready to push the stop button.

I bought the chip on eBay for $49.95 shipped. It is an AS-07 chip. I was mistaken, as you get three seconds to hit the button, which still might not be enough time, but I'm going to give it a try!

Here's the write up on it:

"Auto Stops" gives you the option of having the three reels stop automatically or you can still stop the three reels yourself. Each "Auto Stop" has a 3 second timer. The reels will stop automatically after three seconds just like the Vegas slot machines. However, if you push any of the three stop buttons before the three seconds has expired, the other two reels will keep on spinning until you push the remaining two stop buttons. If you do not push the remaining buttons, a second timer will stop them after 15 seconds. Every time you start the reels, you have the option of letting the reels stop by themselves or stopping them yourself.

I have this chip in my Arex machine and unless they changed the code. The autostop is only disabled with the 1st reel button if pushed within 3 seconds. So if you need to stop the 2nd or 3rd reel first it won't work. But like I said they may have changed the code since then.

I'm sending my autostop back. Going to cost me about $10 in paypal and shipping fees to reimburse the eBay seller, but really just don't want it. Fortunately, I found this forum before installing the chip.

Pachi-slos are a lot more fun than the american made slots, the ones I got just collect dust. IGT Triple Diamond, IGT Wild Cherry, IMP trade stimulator, Mercury trade stimulator, Mills Extra Bell, Mills Golden Nugget, Mills Operators Bell, Mills Vest Pocket, Mills War Eagle, Sigma Treasure Wheel. of them the Sigma Treasure Wheel is the best.

Remember the auto stop chip ALSO gives you the credit function of 53 tokens with a press of the button! That is worth the 10.00 bucks right there. You do not have to even hook up the auto stop if you don't want to. Just hook up the credit mod. I have ordered two for the machines that it will not bother the bonus rounds and when they program then to work for the newer machines with bonus rounds they will send the others I have ordered. At the vary least all my machines will have the credit function working.

That's not the auto-stop chip he's talking about, Laz.
    He has a different one.

You are correct, Laz... I paid the high price...

Oh well, live and learn a bit. I did see the one over at Pachislousa and that one might be a consideration sometime, but right now think I'll just leave it alone.

You're not alone Arby. I paid $79 for my first and only one. All it does it stop the reels. I hate it. I like pachislo's.. stock I like pachislo's to stop them yourself. I live pachislo's.. Not that American garbage..

I don't think there was an original machine, just a general post about the auto-stops..

    Default you changed

you changed my mind!! when I first got it 2 weeks ago I wanted an auto stop. Someone on here say to wait a few weeks then decide and your right I like stopping it myself now. and I never liked the bandit arms even on real slots.
so it looks like the only work I'll ever do is theme customizing.
