    Default My Website is up

Ok all, my website is up with all the machines and prices, although the person that set it up screwed up (made up) lots of stuff on the main and shipping pages. I'll be working on the info and machine descriptions over the next few days. I don't know where he came up with this stuff. So here is the info other than the machine and price info:

    Machines come with:

    500 tokens

Needed light bulbs are replaced and you will receive 2 more with the machine

Original factory door and reset key

    Manual

SHIPPING IS INCLUDED IN ALL THE PRICES

Got to http://www.greatslotmachines.com and tell me what you think. I know it's not the fanciest site in the world, but I had to have something I could keep up with and have it be easy to run. Don't hold back on your comments, good or bad, whether on prices or whatever. I can take it

The site looks pretty good...prices are fair.

I would put up in large text "Free Shipping $70 value" or whatever the actual shipping costs are.

The site looks very nice. The only suggestion I have, is right now is a minor one, it would be on the bronze - gold - silver line up. I would suggest letting that line up be bronze - silver - gold. It's just more traditional.

I agree, and would go so far as to say that every page should have that.

I was looking at it and thought "oh, thats not a bad price". Then I remember that shipping was included, and realized it was a really good price.

    Nice looking site.

    Here's a couple of comments:

    1. On your home page, at least on my browser, the photos of the tokens and chips are distorted - like they were force fit into the same dimensions as the machines. I'd re-crop those, rather than distort them.

    2. If you've really included shipping, those prices seem really reasonable for direct sales from a website. But I don't think the casual visitor will get that. I'd subtract $59 from each one and put a note on each page that packing, shipping & insurance to anywhere in the US is only $59. The prices will not only "look" lower, but it will also look like you have one of the most reasonable shipping rates on the web. It will also let any local customers know how cheaply they can get the machines if they pick them up.

Again, very nice site. Looking forward to watching it as you tweak it.

Looks nice! A few tweaks you may consider:

1 - Image sizes look messed up

2 - Top border doesn't continue to right side of page, should be the set as the background image of the table cell.

3 - Why do you have the machines in the order of Bronze -> Gold -> Silver and not Bronze -> Silver -> Gold ? Also, why not go with something like Standard -> Premium, etc? Just a thought...

I think that's left over from when he called the company Gold Medal Gaming. But you're right, it doesn't seem to make sense any longer.

    ZCore13,

Just noticed on your website that you are listing the Zett as having 7-line play. You might want to double check that. My Zett only does 5-line. It does have the same red neon payout line indicators as the Hound Dog (which does do 7-line) but I've never seen the Zett indicate a branching possibility going to the 3rd reel.

    Nice set up. very nice.

The Zett-30 does have 7 lines pay off. Said so on the PM museum site and I have hit the different ones.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to give mine some more play tonight then. I just got it yesterday and I was looking for it to show the same "branching" from the second reel to the third showing possible wins (like Hound Dog does). When it didn't do that, I assumed it didn't pay on 7-lines. Might also be that I've got some bulbs out.

I'll let you know what I find out.

If you get two bells for example on the 1st pay line(middle) then all you have to do is a get a bell on the third reel. It doesn't matter where just as long as you get one on the third reel somewhere. On Zett and other Net machines of this style, little lights light up between the reels if you get matches on first two reels and have a chance of getting a match on the third.

Say I got a bell on left reel bottom, middle reel middle space, then a red laser like line flashes pointing at the upper right on the third reel. If you get two bells or whatever on the 1st and 2nd reel on the middle line, then the little red laser flashes out like a rake pointing to all three spots on the third reel. Its one of the reasons i enjoy it so much, the 7 line pay out makes it really fun.
This is by far a easy machine to win on

OK, I've been playing my Zett-30 for over an hour. Here's the result:

    1. No indication of a possible 7-line payout. On the Hound Dog if you get matching symbols in the center of reels 1 and 2, you get a "fork" of red lines from reel 2 to 3. This is not happening on my Zett.

    2. I've hit no 7-line payout. Plenty of center, center, center payouts.

    3. I have NOT been able to totally rule out the possibility of a 7-line payout, because I've not yet had matching symbols arranged center, center, and the top or bottom on reel 3.

So, a question for any Zett owners out there. If you have a match on the center of reel 1 and the center of reel 2, and have not yet stopped reel 3, do you get a 3 line "fork" between 2 and 3?

Thanks, but nope. Doesn't help. Already knew that the Museum says 7 line. I thought it was 7-line when I bought it. Right now I'm just trying to figure out if there's something wrong with mine. Since I haven't been able to get it to hit what should be a 7th line payout, I haven't been able to confirm or deny that mine is working right. All I CAN say is that it definitely is not showing a "fork" between reels 3 and 4 like my Hound Dog.

So at this point I think the next step is to find someone with a Zett and have them either confirm or deny that they get that "fork" display between the 2nd and 3rd reel before they stop the 3rd reel. If they don't get it, but they do get 7-line payouts, then maybe I just haven't hit one yet. However, if they find that every time they get a center, center match on the first 2 reels, they see that "fork", then my Zett certainly different.

I have gotten on my first one, and in checking out the Zetts i sell, I have gotten it 9 or more timess on atleast 8 machines.

Is your zett with the chrome grill work over the speakers like the picture ?

Because there are zetts with a round black grill that might be different ?

Here's a very strange line from the Zett pachinkomuseum translation:

"The knitting machine has adopted 7 lines for the association in order always to make stock state, but there are no times when the design is really even on 7 lines, it can play in the same feeling as 5 line machines."

What do you suppose that means?

Strange stuff. I'll play one of them tomorrow and see how it play. I played it before, but now all this talk has me wondering if I confused it with another 7 liner...

You play it like a five line and luck out and catch the other two lines.

Hell I don't know, I have never tried to hit it.
