Methinks I got really lucky to get my Spin Luck right away when I did in May being that I just did research for a week and decided that's what I wanted. And in primo condition too.

No news on a Dragon Dice though.

Speaking of which, does anyone have any video of DD in action? I couldn't find any here or on YouTube.

Update on the Family. Ultraman Club ST made it here. SBJ will be here this week (goes where the coin/pachinko ball tumbler is next to Ultraman) and Harley is having a hiccup taken care of before it is shipped. The Spin Luck purchase died. Turns out they did not have one in stock and the one RJ had was sold before I was refunded the money.

I did find a Harley Casino sign and two Harley Casino chairs.Working on getting them here. I have the stand built for Harley. I still have to build a cabinet for Julie and Vicky.

I have room for three more machines. Spin Luck if it surfaces will fit in the living room. Bang Bang Dash (another hold out) and down the road (Star Trek when they get here in numbers) will fit out on the patio on the wall behind Indy and Fireworks.

The new tumbler is busy at work polishing 8000 Tokens. I put 225 Tokens at a time in each drum, Pet Co's walnut shells. 4 hours later nice shiny Tokens. The Pachinko Balls are next. Links to the Tumbler, Spare drive belts and Walnut Shells are Below:

    Walnut shells:

Arby and Lucky Dog are right on about how well it polishes.

For a change I actually spent the weekend doing non Pachi Stuff. Had to get the boat Buffed up and serviced. I know. It's small but with a 60 HP motor on it it lives up to it's name. "Get Up And Gone"

I have need for only one of the Harley chairs. If anyone out there is interested in the other one let me know and I will put it in the auction. I don't know the shipping costs on them yet. He is sending them freight collect and I am told they are about 55 pounds each.

No matter what shipping cost, from me it will be only the actual cost to send it.

OK. The Boat. When you see it Don't think I am Crazy. I have spent 5 years dialing it in to make it perform safely. They used them at Cypress Gardens years ago (it's an 89) and they jumped ramps with them. I just obtained self contained hydraulic trim tabs to get it up on plane easier and run stable at high speed.

How fast? One mile per hour for each horse power. 60 horse power you do the math. Don't go by the engine cover. It's a sleeper boat. Yes it is rated for that HP. The Company that use to make it was down in South Florida. Puts allot of the bigger guys to shame and gets great gas millage.

In 1971 I had a GW Invader 10 foot long and 50HP Merc.

It was very similar and had a saucer shaped bottom and it did 50 MPH.

2 bucket seats and a steering wheel you didn't turn, you slid sideways

I never jumped a ramp, but did jump some big wakes from larger boats and got airborn!!

I have the same tumbler. It goes through belts like crazy and they are very difficult to replace. Does yours do the same? Have you found a trick to installing the belts? My fingers are too big to get in there, and small pliers tend to tear up the belts.

They also seem way too tight. I think I bought the belts from the same vendor.

That is a second Indy in the cabinet. My sisters is awaiting to be sent to Arby for Arby-Izing then on to her.

Just broke the belt last night. Did 10 drums of polishing before it let loose. Waiting on the new belts to arrive. I'll let you know how the belt change goes when I do it. Going to reduce the number of Tokens in the drums and see if they last any longer and look for an alternate belt here local when the replacements show up to fit for size.

This boat is 10 foot 6 inches. I have not jumped a ramp with it but I did hit a roller wake once. Did not see it from the suns glare. Hit it at about 45 MPH. Launched about 5 feet in the air and "FLEW" for about 45 feet before the boat landed just right back into the water. Had to change the water pump impeller after that flight. It ran too long with out water in the pump.

    Now for the BAD news.

Got a call today about Harley. They held off shipping it due to it paying out funny during the last check before it was boxed up. Turns out the mother board is bad which is causing the erratic pay outs. No spares on hand so it's a No Go.

Harley is back on the list with Spin Luck and Bang Bang dash. The S/N was going to be 00211. They are keeping an eye out for another one. Refund was already back in my Pay Pal account when I got home. Now I have a Harley Casino Topper and two Harley Casino chairs and No Harley.

    BUMMER ! ! !

I can't believe your first belt lasted that long. My Harbor Freight belt broke within the first two hours. These ebay belts are just O-rings. They last a little longer, but mine are very tight and within a few hours of operation they start to harden and then crack. After that, it's only a couple hours more before they fail. At least, after they break, uninstalling them is not so hard! I'm so frustrated though, I've considered getting one of the vibratory models.

Hey, nice game room! Keep the photos coming. It's awesome to see other peoples ideas and the way it all comes together.

It'd be nice if we could put together a photo album together on this site. Yeah, you can access the threads, but an album of thumbnails would be cool!

I have a couple of industrial supply stores here in town. As soon as the new belts arrive I will take one to those stores and try to match up a more heavy duty belt in that size. If I find them and they work out I will let you all know and if anyone needs them I'll pick up a bunch of them and put them in the auction for my cost and USPS shipping cost which will be next to nothing for that size and weight.

Thanks Rubberratt. One day at a time. It will all come together.

Take care of my sister?? She has a full size Indiana Jones Pin Ball Machine. She has the room for it. But for the price she paid for it I have built up three quaters of my Pachi's!!!
Some one contacted me about the walnut shells. The shells they were using weren't doing SQUAT. Here's Pic's of the stuff and how I sift the coins once they are out of the tumblers. I ran 225 coins in each and filled the tumbler up with shells up to about an inch from the top lip after the coins go in without shaking the shells down into the tumbler around the coins. Ran the tumblers for four hours. Walnut shells from Pet Co.

A rule of thumb on tumbling: 1/3 Tokens, 1/3 shells, 1/3 open space.

You can ajust as you find.

Walnut shell abrasive is used to blast clean and polish soft metals, fiberglass, wood, plastics and stone. It works as a deburring and deflashing product for moldings, castings, and electrical parts. It is an efficient soft abrasive when used to tumble and polish gun casings, jewelry, ink pens and metal parts-and can also be used to prepare surfaces and equipment for painting. In some applications, because of its resistance to breakdown, walnut shell abrasive can be reused many times, reducing costs. Medium Is the equivalent of a 12/20 grit size.

I am pretty curious on the belts lasting, I added that tumbler on my want list but I do not want to be changing belts everytime I use it!

    The Whole Tumbler Thread

Never got around to any of the other mods (like a thousand other things I've thought of!), but the belt's run fine since then. They didn't have replacement belts then so that was my solution.

Well I guess I will see how good the 2 tumbler model is. I had the blue 5 lbs vibrating tumbler but it was my 4th one. burned out 3 so far. So I returned that one for the double barrel one. Will see how this one works out in the morning.
