I have a cordless model they go a heck of a long time on a charge which could be a good thing or a bad one depending on their mood ...

That's kinda what I would say. You couldn't run it on one port. You would have to use one for hot and another for cold. Doing it on one device would be pushing it and would burn out quickly. It would be a engineering nightmare and a useability headache, never mind the legal repercussions when it burns out and fails. But if it is not too expensive you could throw it out and just get another one as long as it didn't burn out your port when it shorts out.

I have to agree with alstonj1 on this, I only get about 1 GOOD week out of every month
