Economy Candy
Just went to Economy Candy last Sat its a very to say the least well stocked candy store here in NYC. Its almost a city landmark I got there just as they were closing so I only had a few mins to take some pics.
For decor they have some really great old items such as the Gum machines that you can see in one of the pics. They are all very high up near the ceiling.
They have every candy item you can think of and more! On top of that the prices are very good as compared to the other famous NY candy store Dylons Candy bar which really caters to the rich and doesnt have a 10th of the items of Economy.
Economy is a small familiy run business with a lot of soul
Dylans is the complete opposite It run by the wealthy for the wealthy
a $40 dollar bag at Economy would cost up around $150-$180 at Dylans to give you an idea. but most tourists know Dylans.
Just another cool place to checkout that most non NewYorkers dont know about.. Including New Yorkers LOL
Hope you dont mind Adina in the pics, she is a poser by nature as a matter of fact she got a modeling contract a few months ago with Wilhelmina.
You just might be seeing her all over the place UGH!!!
I asked her to move out of the pics so I could show you guys the store but thats how it goes!
