    Default Horror mansion payout problem

My horror mansion has a tendency to stop paying out regularly. It seems to 'jam' after 150 balls or so.
I don't really see a jam of any kind, it just stops paying. On the pack 1 of the leds is on. The 払い出し中表示 Payout due indicator, but I guess that's just to say it aint done yet.

If i then nudge the machine (or hit it) it continues paying out for another few hundred balls, stops again, and the whole process has to be repeated.

Does anyone have an idea what i could check ?

do a ball dump and clean all your balls.

they may just be dirty or sticky from handling.

I'll do that just to be sure.
I took the payout motor out while it didn't pay out anymore, manually pushed the balls out and it would turn, i banged the machine and there it went again.

Sound like a loose connection or maybe a short in a wire.

I know now what it is, how to solve it by hand, but what I still don't know is:
    why does it happen
how can i prevent it from happening

It's a little switch a few inches above the dongle that gets switched.
If i move it back, the balls pay out.
But why does the switch move and why doesn't it reset automatically...

I'll make a picture later so it doesn't all sound so vague.

    Ok, here we go.

I fixed the problem, i'm going to post what I did and some pictures right here for future people with the same problem so they can benefit from this thread.

The button that detects ball overflow on the bottom payout tray was kinda filthy. So when the bottom ball tray overflowed, the machine kept thinking I didn't empty it.

Here are pictures of the button (i put a red circle around it)

So I removed all the orange plastic from the machine and gave the button mechanism a good clean.
Put everything together again and now it's super smooth again.
