It's a naniwa from Heiwa. I'm going to put it up in the pachislo museum for you.

    Thanks for the quick response!

I got it local for $99, which I thought wasn't a bad deal.

    It's a fun machine.

    One question, however....

It doesn't appear to have a credit/payout button. Any idea if there is a way to do a payout?

    Thanks!

One of those two buttons on the left isn't a payout button?

There are two rectangular buttons there on the left.

The left one says CANCEL, the right one says BET.

The BET button bets one credit per push. If you press it a 4th time, it wraps around to one credit bet.

The CANCEL button doesn't appear to do anything. It doest cancel a bet or cause a payout.

Go and check out the machine in the musuem I put up. The link will take you to pachinkomusuem through world lingo. Then look at the bottom right of the page in the last section. It's appers to explain it's function there.

if you can understand that translation, then you are a better man than I am... :-)

While the arrow appears to be pointing at the general button area, the text doesn't appear to talk about them.

No brochure on PC either... :-(

I guess I was hoping it was going to make more sense to you with the machine to play with...

Maybe someone else can read machine translated Japanese and inform us what the voice of the fist wind of the great bear is supposed to represent. :?

Also premiere pattern exists mainly. Something among those it will introduce. First it is スペシャルテンパイ sound, but approximately with 1/5 after the bonus being formed it occurs "the あ it is -" with voice of the fist wind of the great bear which is said, approximately it occurs with 1/25 "the drum? "It is. In addition, after the bonus being formed approximately "the あ is -" with voice the coin due-out the special due-out sound which is put out exists with 1/10 when there is a due-out. Of course, silent, also lag is healthy. Suddenly, it does not change in large Edo sound, back light does not shine extremely and/or with cannot release the eye temporarily.

The cancel button is the payout button, but you have to hold it in for about 10-15 seconds before it will payout. We have a golgo 13 at the shop that does the same thing. :smt025

And I would translate the " fist wind of the great bear " as bad gas that will knock you over like a fist. Just a thought. :smt102

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

It's a naniwa from Heiwa. I'm going to put it up in the pachislo museum for you.
It's a Naniwa Sakura Fubuki (Heiwa, 2001). It's a sequel to Ooedo Sakura Fubuki (Heiwa, 2000). The machines were manufactured by Olympia for Heiwa.

I think you should give the full name on the museum post. A lot of the dealers just call both machines Sakura Fubuki (if they don't change the names to something completely different).

    11/2001 heiwa!
I think the dates on the Pachinko Museum site are the date their pages were put up, witch is usually the month before the machine appears in parlors. Heiwa gives the debut as December 2001 and Pachinko Village lists the debut date as December 3, 2001

OK... so... is it in the RB or BB round that you hear a bear breaking wind?

Maybe someone else can read machine translated Japanese and inform us what the voice of the fist wind of the great bear is supposed to represent.
The machine translator sort of rearranged some of the words. "The fist" and the "of the great bear" parts are referring to the anime "Hokuto no Ken" which is called "Fist of the North Star" here in the US. The sound from the slot that they're talking about is a voice saying "atatatatata" which sounds something like the "atatatatata" sound one of the characters makes in the anime. I haven't seen the anime yet so I don't know what the "wind" part means. Maybe it's a fighting move, the sound is made during, or something like that.

There's an mp3 of the voice from the anime on a site called "The Sacred Hokuto Binaries". It's the second file down.
    http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/S...0/binaries.htm

There is also a "Hokuto no Ken" pachislo made by Sammy. I've read that it's one of the most popular machines ever made.

OK... so... is it in the RB or BB round that you hear a bear breaking wind?
I'm sure that's a common feature in pachislo machines  but right now the only thing I can think of that's even close to a bear breaking wind is Nezumi's attack on the Gegege no Kitarou machines. It's the last video in on the attack page.
    http://www.sammy.co.jp/product/pachi...aro/index.html

The theme of the Gegege no Kitarou machines is also based on manga/anime.
