Default Cell Pica Cleaner Case Mod

Thx to Arby I am a member of the Cell Pica Cleaner Club.

Not willing to leave well enough alone I had to improve on the case.

It came with a cardboard cutout for the Cleaner and brushes!

That wouldnt do for such a fine tool so I picked up some 2 inch PolyEthelyne Foam and cut it to hold the items.

Now its the Haliburton of Cell Pica Cleaner Cases.

Mine should be arriving shortly from the great man himself. It is on a slow boat from the States.

Always wondered why it didn't have that in the first place. How about if you cut it so the brushes lay down, or cut a plastic cup to protect them, and add a piece to the lid, the kind with the pointy fingers of foam?

I wanted the Brushes to be free so that they retain their shape. They might curl to one side or not be circular laying on their side for sometime as would a paint brush left standing or leaning on its bristles.

After I took the pics I thought to place another piece in the top lid but if its done make sure to cut a spot large enough for the the brushes to totally clear the foam so as not to ruin the tips.
Remember its not like replacement brushes are available on demand, so extra care in both cleaning and handling is very important.
Just remember to be sure the brushes are throughly dry before placing back into the case.

Thanks go again to Arby in a great packing job, just now need to find out where to get some foam like Eddie used as this looks like a great mod to make.

Can someone tell me what the strap like item is used for in the bag

That looks like an auto shooter rig.
Metal part with spring goes around shooter knob, magnet at end of wire attaches to a metal desk or something to complete the ground.
I have one and use it to test cyclic mods.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

    For those that have asked
This is the only proper tool to use when cutting this type of foam.
Box cutter blades are too small as are most utility knife blades.

Just got the word that my cell cleaning kit (and some other goodies) just arrived from Arby

To quote our leader... Arby is the man!

I can't thank you enough Arby, for all that you do for all of us!

So I will cut some foam, clean a certain pachinko machine tonight, and with any luck, I will have another one to clean soon (wink)

Pick up a couple of 1 x 4's 12 inches long and 10 dry wall screws 1 1/2 long. You need to put them on the bottom for feet when you get the machine
