I had a 1958 Plumouth station wagon in the blue and white colors.

My brother and I rebuilt the 318 V8 engine.

It cornered like a sports car with the torsion bar suspension and in those day I drove it like one

But, one day in 1965 I fell asleep behind the wheel on the Ohio turnpike, i woke up just in time to avoid hitting a van and rolled it

The Fury group that I belong to has been taking bets for years as to what the condtion is it going to be in and how much it is going to cost to put it on the road.

The big question is how watertight the concrete vault is. The car is wrapped pretty tight, but if it has been stewing in its own juice for 40 years, there will not be much left.

I wonder if it is going to be on TV live?

BTW when I was little I remember my grandparents had a 60' 9 passenger belvedere wagon. The 60' had even bigger fins. It was red and white everywhere, it looked like a giant picnic tablecloth. It even had the full length roof rack. The whole thing was powered by a slant 6, 3 speed stick, no A/C or power steering. It must have be a handful fully loaded with 10 people..

I should have buried some of my old sports cars. Especially the '51 MG TD. It sure wasn't fast, but I still love the design.
