Finally Got My Hands On A Nintendo Wii

I finally found one in a retail store after all this time since its release. I purchased a few titles that I read were pretty good Trauma Center Second Opinion, Warioware Smooth Moves, Mario Party 8, Zelda Twilight Princess, also got Wii Sports & Wii Play. I'm a hardcore gamer and own thousands of game titles on over a dozen systems and I must say I've never experienced anything like the Wii. These games are all just pure physical fun. I cant believe how sore I am from playing this thing. Want to burn calories the fun way? Get a Wii. I know that the graphics aren't as good as PS3 and Xbox 360 but I think both these systems got edged out in the down right fun category. I think Nintendo actually has a good chance winning this new console War. I understand that a Wii only Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicals with Wii unique controls put to awesome use, is in the works for 07. I cant wait!

Stuey and I were discussing this recently.. Seems. that Manhunt 2 is coming out on the Wii as well.. now this is a game where the unique controls will come in really handy...

There are zero(nada) units here in Phoenix . Everywhere we look there are PS3's (price recently lowered) stacked to the ceiling next to Xbox 360's.
Even the games are getting tuff to find according to the friends here that have the Wii.
I have one lady friend that hated to exercise . But after she grabbed one of these she claims she has lost 30 lbs just because of the exercise she gets from playing it!

I can't wait to get one for my girlfriend and me as we are gamers ourselves but we want what the Wii offers = true interactivity!!

I just read where Nintendo has signed on more game developers for their Wii system than they have for all their other game systems!!

Sony is losing buckets of money and Nintendo can't keep up with the demand in Japan. Microsoft may lower the price of the xbox 360 to the same price as the wii.

The last place I saw it on line was at Wal-Mart but you had to buy 3 games with it, they seem to be getting the lions share of the US supply lately. Toys r us has nothing, they've put electronics in where the game systems were at the store near me. The only thing they do have behind the counter are PS2s and PSPs.

That's great news for the Wii! I found it at a mini-mart called Grand Market in Edgewater NJ. I was there on a Friday and he told me he was getting three that he ordered on Sunday so I paid him for it in full, $319 with Zelda which is about $20 over list. Not to bad since they still go over $100 list on ebay. Anyway he called me back that same Friday because he got them in that very afternoon. :biggthump Next thing you know I'm already picking up another four titles and an extra controller with nunchuk. Its just too funny the things that Warioware has me doing! I hope no one gets this on video.

Yes, the Warioware Smooth Moves is pretty cool. At first glance, my kids didn't know what to expect of it or care for it...but now they love it!!!

I agree Warioware is just plain silly fun. My kids love it.

My sister was lucky enough to get one last week at one of two new Best Buys opening around town. They each had about 30 units. I also hear some Target stores have been getting them in lately.

Happy to hear that Nintendo is doing well. I am an old schooler. I can't wait to see what is coming out down the road from the third party software producers now that Wii is a proven success...

our Target gets them in a few at a time almost weekly.

Circuitcity gets them some sundays and hands out slips 1 hour before opening.

At 2 different times I saw them at Target and I only bought one

Oh, and '01 be sure to check out Rayman. Another great popular title with fun Wiimote actions.

Many stores display empty boxes... perhaps it was that?
Electronics Boutique is good for doing that, but rarely has them.

I got mine back in the beginning of March. I just happened to be at the right place at the right time.
Wii Sports is the best exercise I've had in a long time, especially tennis and BOXING! :boxing:

I'm surprised it's not worn out yet!

So Wario is worth picking up? How is Mario Party?
I think there's a brain game releasing this week, too.

The luckydog meister breaking out the Dreamcast reference...your awesome lucky dog. I love the dreamcast so much I own 91 original games for the system went toi all the sites to get reviews for the best ones and slowly bought them since launch 9-9-99.

Heres my custom TMNT Dreamcast...used to customize dreamcasts for extra cash, my little pony and batman customs brought some dough..cant find those pics.

p.s. I'm looking for a wii myself this week.
