Yeah, it takes like five hours to remove and replace so it's not worth the time to install a wheel of fortune belly glass. Why bother?

    No, no and no.

I still don't get why one would put auto-stop on these games because of eye-shooting. That would eliminate this 'skill', right? Especially when the game's telling you to shoot for "Black seven" or "Red seven", not to mention when it tells you to stop the reels.

    Slot arm? Please.

I glued that piece with StixAll before I went to bed. If it doesn't hold when I go to (carefully) screw the bracket back on tonight, then I hope otis51 will be able to send me replacement parts because it's going to be a head scratcher trying to figure out a way to attach it. And since it's ABS plastic, which nothing likes to bond to, I'm sure I'll be cussing a lot if this is the case. And it looks like the wheel was rubbing the Plexiglas since it wasn't attached firmly and it's all scratched up (glass, not wheel). I read a thread somewhere here on taking scratches out and a product to use, but I forgot what it was. Have to to look. Not a huge deal, I just want it back together. Having to fix it the first night I have it kinda sucks! I don't mind working on it though, I've been taking everything apart since I was a kid. Dad taught me how to fix shi.., er, things.

So, for right now, I have a Spin No Luck machine.

Um, speaking of playing this game, I've read the FAQs on Gak and also in the Museum for this game, but I'm still kinda confused as to how to manipulate the regular game so I can get to the bonus games. The odds are set to 6 right now, and I played it for a while last night and was practicing eye-shooting, but wasn't sure what I needed to do to trigger the bonus games or even getting a wheel spin (oh wait, that's right, I don't have a wheel right now. Silly me. ). And when it lights up one of the four 'winning signs' on the right, what does that mean? I get that when Spin Luck lights up I get a wheel spin, but what does it mean when the reels stop and it makes either the Red Seven/Bell/Bell or Black Seven/Bell/Bell light up? Is it telling me to get that combo on my next spin?

I didn't think this would be that addictive.

Novus Plastic Polish is the stuff to get the scratches out, there are nice kits available with the 3 different solutions, I got mine on Ebay.

Good luck on fixing your machine!

    It was a joke...

since you mentioned the Wheel of fortune belly glass..

its like buying a Ferrari and swapping out the Upright horse emblem to put on a Buick emblem..

    Hey, I like Buicks! *snicker*

Anyway, I'm sure I would never be able to find one. If I did, I would simply put it on the wall.

I thought the auto-stop was actually something people did to these machines. Defeats the whole purpose of playing a Pachislo.

It took you only 5 hours? You must be a speed demon!

Sid, I would equate it with changing the BODY of a Buick! It just shouldn't be done!

Uh huh, I have to admit the MG belly glass is purdy, so is the machine.

But I think a Catfish machine belly glass would look better on the SL!

There is an ABS cement (glue) that you can get. I've use it to assemble my Trooper Armor. It basically works be chemical reation. It literally melts the peices together and is very permanent.

Hmmm, I just saw a thread on replacing the light behind the belly glass and it looked like a 10 minute job to me.

Too late! I glued it with StixAll. It basically does something similar I think. I'm crossing my fingers that this takes care of it. I just wish I had some of that Novus plastic cleaner handy before I put it back together.
