    Uh, what was that, Paul?

"I bought the wires for battery hook up in case the AC adapter didn't work or to make the machine portable so I could play it on a plane when I travel."

Playing a 50 pound pachinko game nestled in your lap in seat 24D conjures up all sorts of images!!

Man, you are a hard-core pachinko player!

    Hats off to you!

I hope I don't find myself in seat 24C. The plinking would interrupt my nap.

Well, the Red Dragon game was supposed to arrive today, but of course UPS missorted the package at one of their hubs and it's now about a 1000 miles away. I am sure the machine is benefiting greatly from being bounced around in the back of the truck for an extra 2000 miles. I don't know what the deal is, but UPS seems to screw up about half of the packages I either send or receive. One package I sent was completely lost all together and a year later has never been found.

Oh well, one good thing is that it is pouring rain here today and it won't get wet.

Someone else on another thread asked the same question about Fed-ex and why vendors still use them. :-? They all suck, espically this time of year.

I'm thinking Pony Express wasn't such a bad idea after all.

    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

My best luck (ain't it hell to say "Luck" at the price they charge) has been with UPS, I am close to a large Hub in lower iowa.

FEDex has done thing to packages, my mama said I should never do or I would go to hell.

But it still a crap shoot, that why I have not put anything up for sale on "The Bay" I have learned from the past.

I have been using DHL/Airborne Express for over a year now and have had great luck and prices are cheaper than UPS and about equal to FedEx Ground!

Not sure if they ship something as large as a Pachislo.

I have an account, but if you don't Office Max is their "drop off" and store front provider.

My best ratio of good to bad lies with FedEx. UPS usually damages the machine and fedex only takes it out on the box :-)

FedEx is also less expensive for me.

That's great to know. I have an Office Max very close to my house. Thanks for the info.

I guess with the amount of packages going through those facilities, mistakes can happen. It just seems like it's always my packages. Truthfully, I don't care about the delay. What I do care about though is the extra handling of the package. I am sure they handle the packages with care....not.

the last frdex guy flipped my machine up on his shoulder and carried it 100 feet to my door,

that's almost 100 pounds with token and box.

i said don't you have a hand truck, he said he didn't need it.

i'm lucky if i can get it out of the box and on the stand

That what I have young strong men working for me.

If I want to kick their behinds, I tell them to lay on the floor, because I can't kick that high.
