If you do manage to get a hold of them, it would be interesting to find out who did the reprogramming and if they still do it. There would probably be a growing market for those services just as the market for the original pachis is growing.

YES ! Please do try to get ahold of him and just like Toonces says any information he could give on why and how etc it came about to be programmed like that will be of extreme interest . I am not sure if there are any dealers/wholesalers that we are aware of that have been around for 8 years. Grandview aka Pachinko Pallace(On Ebay) I believe has been around that long. Yes it will be interesting to hear who that was.

OKAY Ladies and Gentlemen... A day late but here it is. Any feedback on what I might do to make it seem more enticing would be helpful. Check out the auction... bid if you like... and give me any final words of encouragement you can.

I think you covered everything real well.

Good Luck and here's hoping a Pachitalk.com member will win it so we can have another shot at looking at those chips :!:

The guy bought and sold arcade and slot machines for a living, but the number on the card is no good as far as I know... just rings and rings and rings.

One thing I'd suggest you might add to the auction is a closeup (but not TOO close) of the credit meter showing the 99. That by itself may turn some heads.

    Good luck.

From another post on the board, with a link to a site...
and looking through the pics on it.

    http://homepage2.nifty.com/s1114/0341.jpg

That might show the origin... and verify it's a custom. Now... the change of the code???? Hmmm....

I probably missed it, but how did you cover the skill stop buttons?

It has yellow and red lights at the top that say "BIG CHANCE" - "777" - "BIG CHANCE". It has 3 wheels and accepts 5 tokens or quarters for 5 lines (3 across and 2 diagonal). At the time I bought it I was a little... naive... so when the guy said it came from the Dunes Casino I believed him. Now I'm not so sure it's a legitimate machine but I can't even pin down a manufacturer or find any like it on line. Any help would be appreciated. I can email a picture if necessary. Just send an e-mail to me @ orb@fuse.net .

Keep in mind that it also is programmed to play 5 quarters/tokens per spin on top of all the other mods we have discussed :!: :!:

Thanks for the input so far. I've put a few more pictures on the auction and I hope no one minds but I put in the description the fact that many people have expressed an interest in studying the programming in this machine to see how the payouts have been modified.

I think that is a great idea. Hopefully someone we know will buy this from you.

Just curious : How many watchers do you have on this auction ? You may end up having a last minute flurry of bidding :!:

BTW : Don't forget you can make price changes etc up to 12 hours before the auction ends.

well ill tell you one thing that wont help it sell, not letting it go to any state int he US. I can see if you sold them all the time, but since its just a one time thing I wouldnt exclude any state. That just cut about half if not more of your sale chances. Especially trying to get so much out of it!

I feel that I need to cover my own rear on this cuz of the laws on ownership of non-skill machines. For all I know there are laws on the sale of these machines also. Since I'm not sure of the logistics of selling across state lines and all that jazz I'd rather not take the chance. It may hurt but paying a fine that's more than what I get for the machine or being a prison B*tch hurts more. Not that it would ever come to that....would it?
