Well you at least have an interested party here. Go to my private mail and we can discuss it.

Nope if I were you I would sell it to me.

If this is the case it will make for an interesting look won't it? Kinda makes the mods out there now look a bit outdated and this is an old machine ?

Nothing on a search for dune or dunes hmmm hold on a sec..nope neither for Dune or Dunes. I know I saw it before somewhere also Davis but I can't place it.

Davis on the autostop mod do you have to use the stop buttons at all to engage or disengage auto stop or can it be done inside the machine? If it can be done inside the machine then covering the stop buttons like this one is plus adding a bandit arm sure looks like it could increase the value even more on the customs out there?

It looks like to me it has to be a Pachislo like you and Tulsa say.

I just ran across this on EBay. Same machine but with skill stop and different play options and a "Century 21" wrapper. I've noticed no bids but there are 100's of machines on EBay. It's too easy to get lost in the shuffle.

Also noticed no speed loader on the other machine like on my Dunes Machine, though I have to say it just provides more opportunity to jam the coin mechanism.

autostop is usually turned off when you push a button before it starts stopping athe reels. The one I had didnt have any way of turning it off inside. You just had to hit the reel button quick enough to stop the reels before it did it on its own!

This auction says it's a one liner yet shows in the pic a five line payout.
Hmmm 900.00 starting open bid and claims that it is over 25 years old (to be legal in all states ?).

Do you know of any autostop that can be turned on and off inside the machine. I woud imagine it is possible somehow.

Anyway I did a further search on Yahoo on this machine and haven't found anything yet.

Okay... Home now and just checked out my machine. It has a maximum of 99 credits before coins just pass thru the chute and payouts go up to 99 credits then immediately drops the difference out of the hopper at which time you can cash out and the remaining credits will drop. A couple of lights are seemingly out and it occasionally gets a call attendant light at startup when aligning the reels. Usually a restart or two will get it going. Not sure what that is all about. Sounds and music work perfectly. There is a wiring harness that runs to where a skill stop would be. Let the questions fly cuz I'm home now and can look at it and answer questions and take detailed pics for those that may want to see.

    Hi !

I am starting to sway towards what Tulsa and Davis were saying now as to its value. I have done research so far all over the place and I am not finding it. I think the real value is the 99 coin immediate payout etc. Plus the autostop of course. As to why it is erroring out I don't know unless somehting in the programming of the mod chip it has is corrupted somehow.
Before I have any more questions etc I will do some more research.
If you would like to take various close up pics of the inside (skill stop button area, hopper etc).and email me them that would be helpful.

If this actually was in the Dunes it probably would not accept tokens.
    Does it ?

Tokens and quarters though I've found that some certain year quarters don't work well unless they are sent into the coin mechanism very fast.

Watch that auction on ebay of that other unit and let it be your litmus test of the market for them. Right now I'd say, soft considering no bids... There are two days left but it's been up for five days already.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

Ok then it hasn't been in the Dunes hotel. At least not on the Casino floor taking real action. So at this point it is a conversion just like Tulsa and Davis said So of course I bow to their expertise ...again and I will say that if it does indeed payout 99 tokens/coins on one spin for any combination then it is probably worth what they are saying except the problems it may have.

Before you sell it - if anyone can take a look at some pics etc and see what they did to make this kind of payouts available, it would be great to know this. But it is probably programmed that way on a chip so a picture a chip is not much help I guess

This machine of yours may be opening up the idea further of programming these anyway we want them to be !!

Thanks for bringing it to our attention :!: :!: :!:

yeah we should really check this machine out. Like Lew said, it might give us some ideas of how to get the coin max over 50. That would be great! If we could ever get the payouts over 15 id be ecstatic!!!

Ok so now the quest is we need to have someone look at the chips on this ? I agree that it would be extremely interesting to have someone( that knows how) to look at the chips and figure this out.

Maybe this can be worked out. RHertlein what part of the US do you live in :?: There might be someone that could run a quick check on it and fix you other problems you are having with it :!:

it pays out the difference of the total credits (up to 99) and the amount you win. So if for example you have 99 credits already and hit all 7's it pays out 200 coins on the spot. If you have 49 credits and you hit all bars you will receive 50 credits and 50 tokens at which point you can hit collect and receive the 99 coins still due to you giving you no credits in the machine.

yeah thats just how the others pay out, except it only goes to 50. So if you have 40 credits in and it hits for 15 then you gt 5 spit out in to the tray!
