    Default Unknown machine

I have an unknown machine that I picked up about 8 years ago with "Dunes" belly glass. It looks exactly the same as any older model Pachislo machine but without the skill stop. It has yellow and red lights at the top that say "BIG CHANCE" - "777" - "BIG CHANCE". It has 3 wheels and accepts 5 tokens or quarters for 5 lines (3 across and 2 diagonal). At the time I bought it I was a little... naive... so when the guy said it came from the Dunes Casino I believed him. Now I'm not so sure it's a legitimate machine but I can't even pin down a manufacturer or find any like it on line. Any help would be appreciated. I can email a picture if necessary. Just send an e-mail to me @ orb@fuse.net .

On first glance it sure looks like a NET machine to me.. Someone has modified the snot out of it though.

I'm really curious now, do you have a 50 coin/credit limit on it?

Must be custom glass, as there are no casino stickers on it.

Must have an autostop chip, as there are no stop buttons anymore.

It's not a NET machine. It's an old Univeral. Look at the coin chute and that funky lock looking thing on the upper right of the top glass...

Here's a Cranky Condor from 1998... The bet buttons match too, aslo the payout and credit lights are in the right place. Interesting how they got it to accept a 5 coin play.

It's a really nice looking machine, isn't it? All English writing, and winning combo's pay 100 COINS? It looks like a pachislo, but maybe this was for the American market. Maybe this machine did come from the Dunes Casino. You wanna sell that?

It does have a 50 coin limit I believe. I have an internal shot of it too if Tulsa would be so kind to post it also for me. Incidentally I am interested in selling. When I bought it it did not come with a key to program it, but that lock is easily replaced. I have replaced a few bulbs in it but they are a slightly higher wattage so they get hotter but I never have it on more than an hour or so for friends to play. I do have the reset key and the door key but no manual.

    NICE LOOKING MACHINE !!

Not sure if SlotMachines at the Dunes were ever out without bandit arms. The pull lever is there and it sure looks like the auto stop button area has a plate covering it up. I think Tulsa is right that it is an Pachislo.

I also would be interested in hearing how much you want for it!

Does it really pay 100 coins when you hit the jackpot?

Yes it does pay out 100 coins when you hit all bells however I have NEVER hit all 7's since I've had the machine and supposedly it pays 200 coins. As for 100 coins actually coming out...I don't know how accurate it is since I'm not familiar with the mechanism that is used to determine how many coins are ejected.

Forgot... Price wise I'd like to see $1400 for it but I'll negotiate. Should I post this in the For Sale part of the forum?

Research seems to show that the Dunes had a Japanese owner at one time. It might be possible that they outfitted the Dunes with modified Pachislo machines at one time but there is a company name on the belly glass. When I get home I'll find out who made the glass and maybe I can find out if it was a one time thing or they mass produced the glass for several Dunes machines.

Did you say $1400??????

I sure hope you didnt pay that much for it when you bought it, cause if you did you sure got ripped on it! Even with that machine being very unique, its not worth much more than $300 on any market.

I think I saw it once before on Ebay - a long long time ago.

You might have a true collectors item there !

If so the 1400.00 will be a very low figure for this. Be careful and do your research before taking even that amount.

Gotta agree with Davis on this one! $300 top end. The belly and face glass help it but it's still just an old Universal machine with a pretty face. Oh and very clean on the inside too. You've taken good care of it.

does anyone remember the site that was posted on PC long ago, and it had a very strange looking pachislo machine on it??? That was the dunes machine, im guessing it was made a bit different back 10 or 15 years ago. Thats why it pays out a bit more and looks so American. But regardless of the fact, its still a pachislo and has been converted with an auto stop kit, it seems. Neat machine, but I have a hard time believing that youll find anyone paying that much for it.

Hahaha history may prove you right but we will see.

Be sure to read all of the thread as it is stated that it pays out 100 on a payoff. Tell me Davis : What Pachislo do you know of that will dump 100 tokens immediately on one spin ????
