    Default Slot Arms

Does anybody know if the slot arms that you buy from Slotsdirect & some other online sites can be used with Takasago machines.
The ones from Slotsdirect say that it can not be used on Takasago machines. www.slotdirect.com
Another company Funmerchandise.com says that it can. www.funmerchandise.com
Also, the only slot arms that I seem to find are ALL BLACK.
Does anybody know where I can find chrome ones that will work on the Takasagos?

If you haven't already done so, wait thirty days before buying one. These machines are better without slot arms.

Talk to member alstonj1, he's our resident Dr. Frankenpachi and enjoys lobotomizing these machines into the vile and contemptible creation you're seeking.

As I recall reading, someone was/is selling the real IGT arms instead of those cheap knock-offs that apparently work much better. If you're going to frankenpachi one, at least use good materials that you'll be happy with in the long run.

I got my IGT slot arm on eBay. Alstonj1 installed it for me.

Back when I got my first machine I wanted to put an arm on it, I never did though because they always seemed like alot of $ Now I do not regret it, I have added the autostop with the credit add feature and would rather do that on all my machines (I really only use the credit add part though).

Not that one has to do with the other but I put the $ towards the autostop over the arm.

Anyway Vince is the man for the autostop (if you choose to ever do it):

Let me know if you ever do put one on your Takasago. I have a page to help members wire their slot arms at: http://www.autoslot.info/bandit.htm
I will update if anyone has more info on which wires on the spin knob to tap into.
