Default Pachinko hitting a reach.... odds?

So I have been playing my Galaxy Train and Dai Yamato 2 side-by-side now for about 3 weeks and one thing that I have noticed is that while the Galaxy Train does not fever a ton more, it does seem to go into a reach/advanced spin/whatchamacallit where the 3rd number lock is an animated sequence. I would guess for every 1 reach I get on the Yamato I get 5 on the Galaxy Train. I get a bit more enjoyment out of the GT as it seems to break up a bit of the monotony especially on the higher odds machines. Is this noticeable on other machines? Or do the lower odd versions of the same cell reach more often? It's not like a reach is a guaranteed fever. Anyways...just a random thought.

I used to get a lot of reaches and not too many fevers on my Star Wars. After playing it for about a week it seems to fever a whole lot more. It may go in cycles but I am not really sure.

    definitely a cycle thing..

sometimes these machines can be stingier then anything...

and other times they pay out like crazy

I noticed that all sequeces seem to get shorter, if you have more than 2 spins banked on some machine.

Yup, It's a way to help keep the machine up to pace with the player. I usually see this a lot with three and for banked spins. I have never hit a fever on one of those short spins. I don't think it's possible (Star Wars, LOTR, Gamera).

This is from Gaku's site and its what I think your talking about. I thought there was an issue with my Bunny Girl until I read this.
    Short Cut Mode
Many pachinko machines have a function, called the "short cut mode." In this mode, the video draws numbers in much shorter time. Also, the tulip starts opening more often to catch balls, which leads the video to draw numbers more. In this mode the player has a better chance to hit a jackpot. Usually, the machine enters the short cut mode right after the player finishes playing a jackpot. It lasts until the video draws numbers 100 times.
Don't confuse the short cut mode with the high winning rate mode! The winning rate of a jackpot during the short cut mode is at the normal rate. Some models are hard to distinguish these two modes.

I do notice the short cut mode, it activates when I have 4 spins banked, and "quick-spins" until only 3 spins are banked. It also does this during the 100-spin fever rounds.

I have played a little more since my post and Yamato is still being greedy when it comes to what I can only describe as non-level based reach modes... I don't think this has defined levels like have been described above, I do notice that certain reach modes are vastly more popular than others. I guess I was just wondering that if there are say - 3 models for a cell, a MF-T, MF-V, and MF-S with different odds, will the reach odds be different as well? Ahhh... I should just play and enjoy it I guess, but it would be cool to know the theory behind how they set these up to draw people in.
