I wouldn't do that! I bid on machines I'd like to have a duplicate case for. I see they have at least one auction with that 'hidden bidder' thing (bidder 1, bidder 2, etc...), an easier way to hide shilling, I guess. Don't they have to pay fees based on the winning bids? Can't see how they'd get ahead if their shills are winning.

I'm gonna hate to see them go.......

They can do a mutual withdrawal and collect back the final value fees. They just have to pay the initial listing fee. Since they start most off at .99 it is not much at all. They may be also doing second chance offers for the next highest bidder.

    From their auction page:

    Payment Method
You have 3 days to make a payment, otherwise we will offer to second chance offer.

This was just such a massively stupid thing for them to do.

Any way to find out how many have been withdrawn?

I haven't gotten any second chance offers, and I was one behind more than once.

Probably the only time you will get a second chance offer is if the shill bidder is the winner and the price of the second bidder is acceptable to CF. If a legitimate bidder wins they will probably not send a second chance offer unless the price of the machine has been bid up to a very high bid.

As far as mutual withdrawals, I am not sure you can see that. Feebay can check that out but I don't think we have access to that info.

Epay would catch on fast if they do that very often.
They do log IPs of bidders and after they get a complaint, they will go look at the logs to see if the bids are from the same IP. The first time someone gets caught, they send a warning and make you take a training video.
I would think that this is flagrant and repetitive , so I wouldn't be surprised to see them get a 30 day suspension.
I doubt Epay will NARU them. Money talks.

Any auctions that go over $200 automatically go to the "Private" bidding numbers. I guess it is to protect the buyers but I don't like it.

This is hilarious! I've suspected they've been shilling for a while now. At first it was minimal and "smart". You'd see a new user show up and bump up one of their auctions from time to time. But lately, especially with that stopexpress user, they've gone completely off the deep end. Not only is stopexpress only bidding on and winning CF auctions, they are often winning a few machines a day. Even the worst Pachitalk addict doesn't buy THAT much.

Panchinko bidding on their own auctions (didn't think ebay would even allow that) is obviously a big goof - someone forgot which log-in they were using. I suspect they'll go bye bye for a while. DUMB!

    Edited to add:
Oh I see, panchinko bid on samuraislot's auction. I didn't think they'd let a user bid on his own auction.
