What is Panchinko/Samuraislot doing now!

I've got the high bid on an Evangelion machine right now being sold by SamuraiSlot. I was checking the bid history and noticed that Pachinko bid on it and raised the price from around $75 up to $120. What is up with that? Bidding on your own stuff is about the most illegal thing you can do on ebay. They didn't even try to be sneaky about it!

They did it to this Bisty machine too.

I'm also starting to suspect that they have other ID's to raise their own prices. I apologize if you are a member here, but the the user WESNUCKLE certainly looks like a fake bidder. They bid on almost every single one of their auctions, and generally just raise the price but very rarely win.

That ID and stopexpress is also another likely candidate...

This is getting ugly.

If you're bidding on one of their machines, watchout for these two id's and I'd back off if I were you.

I've already reported it to ebay, and the automated reply I received back mentioned giving the offender an "educational alert." Oh man, break out the big guns!

I'm trying to retract my bid, but I don't have much chance unless Samurai doesn't reply to my email. There isn't a retraction for shill bidding, so I'll have to try and go through the ebay suits otherwise.

you can just go to site map and click on retract bid, then type in ad number to retract.

Yeah, one of the suspicious bidder ID's won that Cutey Honey. It's either a real person, or their bid raising backfired.

It does look like a shill or two has been working the CF auctions. That is a good reason to snipe and only put a lowball bid. Those two bidders that seem to be bidding on all CF auctions have not left any feedback.

Kizu76, there is no way in hell I'd pay if I won that auction. I imagine it will get pulled unless it ends before fleabay can act on it. But I would not give them my money for this garbage.

No way am I giving them any money. I was going to wait to see if they replied to my email before I put in a retraction, but I'm done with that. (which sucks because I wanted an Eva)

If they are too stupid to use panchinko as a shill then they are most likely too stupid to invent new accounts.

They know that you wouldn't bid very high.
They can see the IDs that are interested in some machines so if you put a bid in early they just look at what you bid on the same machine and can push you up to your max.
That is not very high with LD.
