Sinbad problem with volume control -?

Hey guys ! I just got my Sinbad a couple of days ago. Its working great, but I have a problem with the volume controls. One side which is the left side is good. The other side, only works when I turn it all the way up. If I turn it down, I see a little sparks in between the knob.
So I am thinking maybe the volume contol is bad-? Any help would be great, thanks !

The Volume control is bad and should be replaced.

Yep, That happens. get the ones for sale in the auction 6 for 15.00. easy to install and I never had a problem with them buring out.

Those look great, the only problem is that I am not too good with soldering, can I still use that control-? Or maybe a different one-?

I wouldn't worry about soldering them in.
I think that you will find that soldering is not as hard or scary as you are making it out to be.
Sure at first you might be saying, "I am scared of soldering."
But as you try it it will quickly go to, "I am not very good at soldering." Shortly there after to, "Well my solder joints have a little to be desired."
And finally to, "I just got a new machine ,so I'll have to fire up the iron to put some volume controls in it."

I'd replace it as soon as possible. Arcing like that isn't really great for the speakers or the audio system.
