What I just remembered something. Thunder VII was one of the first games I ever owned. I bought it from Pachinko Palace off e-bay. As a complete noob at the time I wasn't sure how to get around the menus and I wasn't sure how to switch between the different modes that the game offered. So I called up there tech number to ask some question. They were no help but they did highly recomend Pachitalk.com and suggested I come here. So its ironic that he bashes pachitalk but also recomends it.

When I talked to Eric on Friday he said we would take care of this next week!
Eric also said they had gotten a new container but not opened it yet, they would open it up on Monday and try to find another Rio Joker Version for me!
I called yesterday (Monday) and spoke with Justin. Justin said the warehouse is closed on Monday, but he said he would go open the container and look for a Joker version. Justin also got my phone # and said he'd call me back today!
Justin called me back today and told me he found a Joker version for me and had already shipped it, gave me a tracking #! Justin also said every time I talked with him: "If there is anything else I can help you with or any problems don't hesitate to call me back!" Very Polite, Friendly, Helpful!
I think Eric needs to take Customer Service lessons from Justin!
I give Justin an A+++ on Customer Service!
So when 2nd replacement arrives I will update on condition, etc......

Possibly, but the 1st Rio was in good condition other than shipping damage.
The shipping damage can be fixed by replacing a few broken parts, filling in the dent in the wood case...... I told them to fix the 1st 1 and send it back!
So if it is and they fixed it & it arrives without shipping damage all should be ok!
Also unless they replace the whole black plastic piece around reel glass on the inside of the door I will be able to tell as it had a broken tab piece that helps hold in the top florescent bulb assembly. Doesn't really affect anything.
I will post the verdict when it arrives!

Funny thing is Justin said he called good ole' UPS on Monday and issued a call tag for 2nd damaged Rio! As of today, Thursday, UPS has not shown up!
Replacement Rio shipped on Tuesday, UPS had it scheduled to arrive Friday,
somehow it sat in SECAUCUS, NJ. for a whole day! Now it's rescheduled for Monday! What a bunch of @$#@%$%$#!

FedEx isn't much better, 2 machines coming from Gaku:
Both machines made it to St. Paul, MN. together within a couple hours of each other, possibly on 2 seperate trucks or 1 just got scanned in later.
1st: May 17, 2007 2:53 PM Arrived at FedEx location SAINT PAUL, MN
2nd: May 17, 2007 5:35 PM Arrived at FedEx location SAINT PAUL, MN
1 left May 17, 2007 9:00 PM Departed FedEx location SAINT PAUL, MN for
Duluth, MN.
The other is still sitting in St. Paul, MN. Last check it still says:
May 17, 2007 5:35 PM Arrived at FedEx location SAINT PAUL, MN
Unless they have another truck coming up here I wont see the 2nd 1 until Tuesday! Maybe 2nd 1 is on the truck but just not updated yet?

Ok! 2nd Pachi departed St.Paul at 2:46 A.M! I guess they are on seperate trucks! I will get them both today (Friday)!

Ok! Received 2nd replacement today and guess what?
It's in really good shape! Hurray!
A recap: 1st Rio Joker Version damaged in shipping!
Replacement 2nd machine: Rio Summer Version some damage in shipping and in very bad shape, scratches peeling chrome, etc...
3rd replacement of 2nd Rio came and it's a Rio Joker Version in excellent shape! UPS tried hard to damage it and how it wasn't except for 1 nick in the wood I can't figure out! Box was smashed terrible!
It's also not the 1st Rio sent after repair, it's a totally different one!
Pachinko Palace even sent me more tokens and they had already told me to keep the ones they sent with other machines!
It took a little bit of time and B.S. but i finally got a great machine at a great price!
