Super Stadium Chance Button Problem

Hello all,

When playing the machine last night I noticed that the chance button never lit up. I played through two fevers, and still nothing. The reels lined up several times with the "Shoot" and "Chance" symbols and a voice said shoot the chance button I believe, but it never lit. Is it possible that the bulb is burnt out? If so, how would I go about replacing it in the machine, or testing it to make sure there isn't a problem with the machine elsewhere. I have already unplugged and plugged the wires in to re-seat the connectors, and no luck. Can anyone help me out?

have you pressed the chance button when it asked you too, to see if it works?

as you mention it funilly enough iv had my superstadium for about 4/6 months and havent seen the chance button light i just dont think it is in play on this cell because as soon as i read this i popped julie in ther (real active on th echance button and it was running fine

Thanks for the responses, I guess there is no worries then. When I press the button when it says something about chance, it does nothing differently than if I don't hit it, so I guess this one must not have it enabled.

When you first turn on the machine...does the chance button light up? before playing any balls, press it to see if it goes through the lights testing feature. I have seen this on the other lumina frames I have. if the lights go around after pressing it, then you know it works and it's may be just a bad bulb. if nothing happens, check the connections like arby mentioned.

I will give this a test tonight when I get home... I do not believe it lights up as soon as I turn on power, but I never pushed it to do the bulb test (I didn't know that existed!) I will let you know the results.

My Super Stadium does not light at power up or throughout the play of the game. I still press it while playing, because you never know if it is working or not! It's all psycological anyway!

There are no "light Bulbs" in the chance button, only a LED. A wiring diagram of the lumina chance button is in the Bee Hive Thread,

I double checked and my chance button does not come on when powered up regularly. Nor does it do any kind of light test, it just acts normal. I was, however able to get it to light up and do the light test (where the lights go up and around the frame every time you hit it). I ended up doing a reset (power off, hold button, power on) and then the chance button lit up and pressing it did that light test. After a couple minutes or when something happened in the game (ball going into hole, chute, etc) the chance button would go off and not light up or appear to work anymore.

I think it would have been cool for them to put some LEDs in the back that light up or go out like in the Pachislo machines, so you can make sure it is working.
