how big are pinballs anyway.. it's been so long.. I can't quite recall.. and all the shiny spheres I imagine now are pachinko-sized.

If that ad was actually for pinballs (ie 1 1/16" diameter chrome steel balls for regular pinball machines) rather than pachinko balls, then the shipping price would be quite reasonable, as 1000 pinballs would weigh in at about 70kg/150lbs

I fear that given that it's listed in the Pinball machines section, that some poor pinball collector is going to be thinking that they're getting a real bargain as new pinballs typically cost about a dollar each.
