frivolous law suits cost all of us more money for the cost of goods and services we buy. Case should be thrown out of court !

I think that the lawyers who bring these kind of cases to court should be charged with 'wasting the courts time' and 'attempting to pervert the course of justice'. With the penalties for doing so being a fine, disbarring or even facing a prison sentence. That should discourage them a bit.

Also in these cases, make the fine that the lawyers get equal (or at least proportionate) to the damages that their clients are attempting to claim. That should at least mean that the lawyers will be more likely to advise their clients against making claims for rediculous amounts, like in this case.
