Maybe by the Summer she'll be ready for this....come on up to MA! This thing is FAST and smooth. The way it's designed, you cannot see the track when you're at the top of the first hill. It's like the car is floating in mid air. You don't see the track until you're halfway down, it's so steep.

Yes. That would be a cool place. I was also going to suggest a place in PA called Knobles.

Its free to get in. You only pay for the rides you want to go on. So I thought this would be very afordable to everyone and if your not a ride person your not wasting any hard earned cash. Well you guys know me, I'm down for anything so lets try and put a plan together for the summer.

I love Knoebel's...a very nice old-fashioned park. We also go there at least once or twice a year, it's not too far from my Mother's mountain cabin. It is a great place if you don't like to go on rides, and yet they have plenty to keep the thrillseekers happy. Good choice!

Knoebels has some great wooded coasters, too.
The Phoenix is well respected within the ranks of coaster-holics.

There are campgrounds on the property, and decent lodging nearby too.

I'm liking this idea for the next PA mini-convention!

    Good thinking, Chris!

I drove 8 hrs one way a couple years ago and I have to admit Ceder Point is a awesome park. I liked the drag racing coaster that went 400 plus feet in the air at over 120mph but it was over in under 20 sec. My favorite coaster there and one of my top 5 all time favorites and I've been on over 50 has to be their Blue Steel coaster. What a ride! No loopes but it felt close to 3min. long and 300 ft. drop after 300 ft. drop and I believe 80mph. you have to love it.

There is a new wooden rollercoaster opening in Juli in the Netherlands.
You should take her there, as far as i have seen the drawings it is going to be a very cool coaster.

But it is true, once you ride one coaster, you never want to stop.

One of the best days I ever had was at Busch Gardens in Tampa. School had just started and the park was deserted. I was there with three of my friends and we rode that double loop coaster all day long without waiting in line for a thing.

I must admit though, I have long since lost the desire to have my brains scrambled by artifical devices and it's been over 10 years since I've been on a rollercoaster.
